A few pics from a great weekend at , had a lot of fun 🏊

not the time i was planning on but tough conditions with a lot of surface chop and consistent side winds, made sighting and rhythm a real challenge at times.

Felt reasonably strong throughout, focused on keeping a steady stroke and adapting to the conditions.

Great to swim alongside so many others in a well-organised event.
Plenty to learn from and build on — we go again, onwards & upwards

The impact of yoga within my everyday…

Yoga has transformed my life in ways I never imagined, offering me tools that have become essential in navigating both my inner and outer world.

On the mat, I’ve learned the power of presence—the ability to stay grounded in the moment. This mindfulness has spilled over into every aspect of my day, helping me respond with clarity rather than react impulsively. It’s a constant reminder that I don’t have to be swept away by stress or distractions.

Yoga has also taught me resilience in a profound way. It’s not just about holding a difficult pose; it’s about staying steady in discomfort, learning to bend without breaking. This mindset has given me the strength to face challenges head-on, with patience and the understanding that growth takes time.
When life gets tough, I no longer see obstacles as roadblocks but as opportunities to grow and evolve.

Through yoga, I’ve learned to be kinder to myself. Instead of criticizing myself when things go wrong, I now approach failure with compassion and understanding. This shift has deepened my emotional well-being, allowing me to navigate life with more peace and self-acceptance.

Ultimately, yoga has brought balance into my life. It’s taught me how to prioritize what truly matters—my health, my relationships, and my own inner peace. It’s not just a practice; it’s a way of living, giving me the tools to face each day with purpose, clarity, and strength.

It’s not about being perfect or rigid, but more about finding your flow both on the mat and off.

I hope you all have a wonderful relaxing time wherever you choose to spend your festivities.

I would also just like to thank everyone that has joined me in any of the Classes, events etc this year. Very much enjoyed building upon the community.

As part of your yoga practice, the philosophy of svadhyaya, which translates to self-study or the importance of getting to know yourself, is a vital tool for unlocking your true nature.

How often in your daily life do you stop and take stock of what’s going on in your mind and physical body?

Do you get so caught on the treadmill of the everyday that you don’t realise when you’re feeling a little frazzled? If you don’t slow down to feel these early negative signs, it could mean you’re not slowing down enough to feel the positive signs, either.

A regular yoga practice can help you identify these signals before you hit a wall.

Yoga helps you slow down, breathe deeply, move assuredly and think with clarity.
