✅ Unsteady on your feet?
✅ Nervous about losing your balance?
✅ Stiff getting in and out of a chair?
✅ Limited because you can’t kneel on the floor?

If you said yes — this class is designed for you 🙌
Sometimes when we can't kneel, we can be chair shaped more often than we should be. This leads to tight hip flexors at the front which can lead to back pain. We get to stretch those muscles without kneeling and no cramp in the back of your thigh!

We use weights and stretchy bands, to help increase and maintain bone density, strengthen muscles in arms and legs and generally mix things up- we don't do the same thing every week.

We work on balance to help prevent falls and increase confidence.

My favourite thing to do on holiday is to get up before anyone else and roll out a duvet or throw and start the day with Pilates.

No make up
Not showered
Hair not brushed
Bikini straight on
Before anyone wakes
Before breakfast and washing up
Before the day begins and doesn't stop until bedtime.
Sometimes this needs an alarm, which I temporarily regret on waking.
But once awake and outside, the early morning sunshine delivers.
Only 20-30mins
Followed by a pre breakfast dip in the pool/beach/or even a lake.
It sets me up.
It's treatsy .
It's peaceful.
It's burns off half a croissant 🥐
But it's magical and if you haven't tried it, set your alarm 30 mins earlier than everyone gets up.
Have the bikini / swim suit ready next to water and a towel

You won't regret it ❤️

We have some new classes to suit you.
We even have classes that stay in standing or sitting, for those who can't kneel or get up and down from the floor.
All ages and abilities are welcome to our Pilates gang.

Mondays 10.30am, Beginners and Improvers Matwork.
Wednesdays 11.00am, Express Pilates 45 mins matwork
Wednesdays 11.50am, seated and standing. A more gentle class aiming to improve posture, build strength and work on balance. All key qualities to maintain as we age.
