Did you know beauty can be explained by a set of scientific and academic proportions. For example: your top lip should be ever so slightly smaller than your bottom.

In clinic we are now consulting patients because they are following beauty trends which encourage a bigger top lip or an even 50/50 split.

This is an ethical decision as the first rule of medicine is to do no harm.

It’s that time of year when our little people can suffer with their breathing. So grateful for the care and support shown to my 4 year old grandson. Working in the NHS for 27 years and know that there is good care out there, never have I been more proud of the world class service we received..
I believe in our NHS.

Respecting facial anatomy is essential to enable beautiful natural results and also to reduce the risk of complications occurring.

Anatomy is three dimensional. It isn't just a case of knowing the underlying facial structures but also understanding the plane at which these structures lie.

Without proper understanding of this complications can occur if product is placed superficially or too deep.

It is also important to know where on the face the bones, muscles, fat pads, blood vessels and nerves are likely to be found in order to restore natural looking beauty.

Make sure you choose an experienced medical professional for your aesthetic treatments. It’s not worth putting your face and health at risk for the sake of saving a few quid 💰

Although peels are safe to have all year round, the optimum time is to have them is the winter months.

This is because exposure to the suns rays can cause hyperpigmentation and of course sunburn.

Always use a broad spectrum SPF following a peel to protect your face and promote optimum healing and the best glowing results.
