I'm here basking in the yoga afterglow and I love it.
I did the 9:30am Livestream from the comfort of my own home and then sat with a cup of tea afterwards just basking. (Every Monday 9:30am or catch the replay thereafter)
This feeling is incredible, and it's worth every bit of effort. Every gentle nudge you give yourself when the motivation or energy is low. It's worth ignoring every excuse you find not to practice. It's worth the commitment you make to yourself. And it's worth every hour, day, weekend, month, and year spent learning to teach and share this place of peace.
In that one hour of yoga asana, it may seem like nothing much changes. But when you consistently show up, day after day, everything begins to shift. Your life becomes what you do daily.
When you invest in improving your mindset and exploring how to become the best version of yourself, life starts to grow in the most positive ways.
This feeling I've created for myself will help me make better decisions today. I will respond to situations with more clarity, enhancing the good things and meeting the difficult moments with calm, or at least not making them worse.
I feel empowered. I will show up honestly throughout my day. My kindness will come with firm but fair boundaries. The good stuff will snowball and I will win (unless of course I learn 🙄)
This is the quiet power of practice. I wouldn't feel this way if I hadn't just practiced yoga Asana and followed my breath rather than my excuses or my comfort zone.
