***Thursday 26th March is National Social Prescribing day.***

The Social Prescribing service is available at our Surgery.

If you are over 18, are struggling with life's problems and need to be signposted to services that can support, contact the Surgery to request a referral to the Social Prescribing service.

Our Social Prescribing team Philippa and Fern can link you in with services as well as provide information and advice that can help you. They can discuss support around the stresses of caring for loved ones, managing debts, social isolation, amongst many other things. Philippa and Fern are on hand to listen and empower you to make positive life changes for the better.

Many things that affect our health can’t be treated by doctors or medicine alone. Like loneliness, debt, or stress due to financial pressures or poor housing...

• Staff who live or work in the affected halls and were offered antibiotic prophylaxis.
• Students from other Canterbury universities living in relevant halls or private accommodation who were advised to take antibiotics due to close contact.
• Anyone who attended Club Chemistry between 5 March and 16 March and was advised to take preventative antibiotics.
If you fall into any of these groups, please contact the practice to arrange your vaccination.
