🩵Blue is the colour of the throat chakra.
To help balance it, focus on any shade of blue, a blue sky, the sea or a blue car. Wear something blue, jeans, jacket or jumper. Even better if it is a scarf, tie or blue necklace.
🫐Eat blue foods. Blueberries, damsons, plums. This chakra benefits from liquid food such as smoothies or soups. Hot honey and lemon soothes the throat.
👩🦰Looking after your head and shoulders is good for the throat chakra, as it governs neck, mouth, teeth, ears, sinuses, thyroid, parathyroid, upper part of the oesophagus and trachea. Book yourself a dental appointment and get a hearing test.
🦒Necks get tired and stiff. When your neck muscles tighten up, the energy flowing between your head and body, and through your throat chakra, can become blocked and sluggish. Imagine a piece of string from the top of your head is pulling you up, so that you lengthen your neck and stand taller.
📖The throat chakra is linked to air, so think about the power of words. Words and sounds have a very specific energy and vibratory pattern. If you are angry or unhappy, it is important to express those feelings, either to the person you are angry with or, if you can't do that, wait to be alone and imagine that person in front of you, as you say how you feel. Journalling in a diary or writing a rage letter (not to be sent to the person but burnt, ripped up or shredded afterwards) are fantastic releases.
💍Crystals to try are blue ones like aquamarine, turquoise and aqua aura to aid good communication. Ideally, wear in a necklace or earrings. Pop a tumblestone in your pocket or bag. You can also lie down for 10 minutes with the stone on your throat.
