Brain fog be gone! Why eating less gluten could be your thing
Today I want to share my experience of reducing my Gluten intake, and the powerful impacts I see in my day to day life.
I didn’t know Gluten was the culprit
Like me, you may never have realised you could be partially intolerant to gluten. Celiac disease is not 100% or nothing. Partial intolerences is a thing.
This partial intolerance could have impact to your gut function, but it’s much more likely your mental clarity will be affected. So you could be living with “brain fog” without even knowing there is a path to an improved (110%) you, where you feel sharper and clearer more often.
You are not just tired!
TATT (tired all the time) is very likely to relate to brain fog.
Symptoms of brain fog include, getting words mixed up: “Par Cark”, instead of “Car park”. Typically your brain feels slow and finding the right thing to say can be like searching in a haze.
This new normal, isn’t as impossible as you think.
My path to a sharper brain
I wanted to see what would happen if I removed the ‘glue’ aka gluten from my eating habits.
So I went cold turkey for 2 week, this meant:
no breads, biscuits, pasta etc
And in general eating Paleo (Meat, Fish, fruit, and veg)
My Results
So after my first week I really started to notice the following things as a result;
I had more energy throughout the day
I had clarity of thought, for longer durations of time
I felt switched on more of the time
I did go backwards initially, those first 2-3 days were tough, but, honestly, stay the course.
So for anyone reading this, what have you got to lose in trying this yourself? If feeling 110% is something you are looking for, this could be for you.
