A team of a 7 are taking on the Cheshire Half Marathon this month to raise money for our Medical Eduction Department.

The team are wanting to purchase a new birthing simulator model that will not only transform the educational experience for our medical students, but also our local resident doctors training here with us.

🌟EXTRA MILE APPEAL UPDATE🌟

Care of the Elderly ward is the first Ward to benefit from the Extra Mile Appeal, can you go the Extra mile with us to help them?

This ward shares a Bladder scanner and ECG machine with other wards, if we can give them their own machines, this could mean faster diagnosis, quicker discharges home, fewer delays, improved infection control and more time for patient care 💙

Ward manager Beverly Roberts has also asked if we can fundraise for some additional blood pressure monitors for her ward, all of the above items will help the Care of the Elderly ward immensely, providing equipment where they need it most.

The total amount needed for this ward is £60,000 we have already raised a fabulous £35,000 can you help us to get to our target?
