🤍💚🤍 Happy work anniversary Joanne 🤍💚🤍

Last week Joanne celebrated her 35 year work anniversary, (Joanne respectfully declined a photograph after a 12 hour night shift)

Joanne is one of a small bunch of our team who have worked at Old Rectory for so long, she has been an integral part of the Health care assistant team and continues to be a string team member who is well respected and trusted amongst the team. 🌟

Joanne is a naturally caring and kind individual who always does her best and is a great team player. We value her knowledge and skills and thank her for all those years of service. Thank you Joanne 😊

🎉🎊 EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2026 🎊🎉

A huge congratulations to our employee of the year Domestic assistant Linda Carroll.

This is a much deserved award for a wonderful person, Linda is brilliant at her job, has more energy than the durable bunny and is loved by her colleagues. 💟

Linda takes time to interact with everyone in a kind and caring way, on her day off she has assisted activity coordinator Elaine in taking some of our lovely ladies over to the Holy Trinity Church, Capenhurst. When the washing machine needed fixing Linda came back late at night to ensure she kept on top of the many many loads of washing that needed doing so the care team wouldn't have to add that to their already long day. ✨️

We appreciate all your hardwork Linda, so thank you from us all 😊

This week is Activity coordinator appreciation week 👏🏻

Here is Elaine our Activity coordinator (who does everything she can to avoid the camera) she is the one behind the scenes pulling everything together, planning the week ahead, booking in entertainment, creating our monthly themed boards, speaking with families, planning christmas and summer fairs, orgnaising Bonfire night and delivering meaningful activities. 🌟

This is not an easy job by any means, it can quite solitary and at times, delivering a range of activities to people with varying levels of cognition with an age of around 30 years and lots of different people from different backgrounds with different interests. Certainly not one for the faint hearted but Elaine takes it all in her stride and is a great help to her colleagues too. 💚
