We’re looking for 7 volunteers to receive a free massage from Steph, our trainee therapist, as part of the sports and deep-tissue massage module in our in-house training programme.

If you're available between 12:30 and 14:00 on Monday or Friday afternoons, send us a DM with your preferred day and we’ll get you booked in.

We’re really pleased to welcome Steph Jones to Myokinetics!

Steph has joined us on placement from Edge Hill University. She’s already completed a sports massage module as part of her degree, and she’ll now be taking our in-house training so she can work alongside Luke and Jade .rehab as a fully trained Myo therapist — offering the level of sports and deep-tissue treatment you’ve come to expect here.

We’ll soon be looking for volunteers to support Steph during her training. If you’ve got an hour to spare and fancy a free massage on Monday or Friday afternoons between 12:30 and 14:00, drop us a DM!

Absolutely fantastic, that's how it makes us feel to receive such great (and detailed) feedback as this from Paul...

'So stoked to find Myokinetics, I recently dislocated my collar bone and needed to start my physio journey, I already had the place on my radar for sports massage but I had not booked my self in.

Paul treated me for my shoulder, advising me on exercises, the right support strap and my road map back to full health.

'I [came] in to see Luke about a knee injury.

[Luke] spent a good 15 minutes listening to me and looking at what may be the issue. His knowledge is worth his weight in gold and such a relief to get an answer and help with my injury.

I had deep muscle treatment on both legs, we done some good stretching, all through this Luke explained everything we are doing and why, how it’d help and what I need to continue to do at home to speed up us recovery.

A very educational 60 mins with Luke has opened my eyes to what I have NOT been doing and what I NEED to be doing.

You already know Emma for her fantastic Pilates classes — now she’s offering 1:1 Therapeutic Pilates sessions designed specifically for rehabilitation and recovery.

These are ideal if you’re:
🔹 Recovering from injury
🔹 Managing pain or movement imbalances
🔹 Wanting a structured programme to support physio or sports massage therapy

What makes them different?
Emma will create a personalised rehab plan, show you the correct postures and movements, then guide you to practise at home. You’ll return for follow-ups every 2–4 weeks to progress your programme until your rehabilitation is complete.
