INPP has pioneered research into the effects of neuro-motor immaturity on learning and behaviour.
Established in 1975 to investigate the role of underlying physical factors in the presentation of specific learning difficulties in children & symptoms of Agoraphobia & Panic Disorder in adults, &
develop reliable assessment & physical remedial programmes The INPP Method has been developed to identify underlying causes and to offer a completely drug-free and non-invasive treatment, which can help children overcome their problems and give them the tools with which to succeed. INPP was founded and established in 1975 and since that time has helped many thousands of children in many countries worldwide.

One of the achivements of these 50 years of INPP is Sally Goddard's School Program, an excellent instrument for Neurodevelopment within the school. Marta Not Monegal from Spain will present her research based on INPP's School Program.
Marta Not Monegal is a physiotherapist and psychologist specialised in
neurorehabilitation and neuromotor development. She combines her academic work as
a lecturer at the Faculty of Physiotherapy of Manresa, UVic-UCC (Spain), with her
clinical practice as a physiotherapist and director of the SIRN Manresa center.
In her PhD research, Marta is studying the effects of a school-based INPP motor
programme on primitive reflexes, several neuromotor skills (balance, fine motor
coordination, and oculomotor control), and the risk of dyslexia. Marta will present some
of her findings from this study, which form part of her ongoing doctoral thesis.

Our XXVII International INPP Conferenec will host toghether with outstanding keynote speakers, presentations from some of our International INPP Licentiates that use the Programme worldwide as Leanne Seniloli from New Zealand.
Leanne Seniloli, (B.Tchg (ECE), M.Phil (honours), NDT (INPP)) is the founder of Without Limits Learning and a Senior Lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology in New Zealand. She has over 20 years’ experience working in education ranging from early childhood to individual therapy, teacher training and is currently lecturing on early childhood education.
She is the author of ‘Simply L.O.V.E: Four easy strategies to unlock your child’s mind and heart’ along with multiple other articles. Most recently she has conducted research on the feasibility and acceptability of a neuromotor movement programme in an early childhood centre. Leanne will present initial findings from this research and potential links between the INPP screening questionnaire, and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire used to assess children’s behaviour.

One of INPP's old times friend has agreed to come back to present in our Conference. We are very happy to announce Dr Lazarev, world expert in music and prenatal development.
Dr. Mikhail Lazarev is a pediatrician, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor of the International Academy of Sciences and Arts. He also holds a PhD in Psychology and is a full member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences.
He is the head of Moscow Sonatal Center and the founder of prenatal education in Russia, and authored Sonatal Pedagogy – a musical system for harmonizing the development of a child that is used before and after birth.
Since 1983, about 100 thousand children have passed through the Sonatal method in prenatal, early years, preschool and school ages in Russia and abroad. Studies have been proven that the Sonatal method can have an impact on motherhood style, the course of pregnancy and lactation.
Dr Lazarev will share how this prenatal musical experience affects not only pregnancy but also the health, motor and speech development, as well as artistic and musical abilities of the child.

We are so proud to present you Professor Angelica Roland as one of the guest speakers in our INPP International Conference.
Angelica Roland is Professor of Psychology and Genetics at the School of Psychology in the Faculty for Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey. She established the Genetics of Early Milestones and Skills (GEMS) project, an ongoing multi-disciplinary collaboration which aims to investigate the common genetic architecture of the infant neurodevelopment including motor development and activity level. Professor Ronald’s research focusses on genetic and environmental causes of child development. She gained postdoctoral training in molecular genetics funded by an Autism Speaks fellowship and a PhD in Quantitative Genetics from King’s College London. Prior to that she received her BA from the University of Oxford in Experimental Psychology. Her research prizes include the Association for Psychological Sciences Janet Taylor Spence award and the British Psychological Society Spearman medal. Prof Ronald has 160 publications, is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and is joint editor of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, a highly-ranked journal in psychology and psychiatry (ISI)l

Another speaker, this time from the danish island of Bornholm: Bent Peder Holbech
Bent Peder Holbech, born in Ringe in 1947, is a celebrated music educator and composer based in Bornholm. Known for his jazz/rock influenced choral works, such as “Missa Brevis Rhythmica,” he has significantly contributed to both music education and church music. Holbech’s collaboration with Kjeld Vagn Johansen on music therapy for dyslexics, with the globally used “Waves,” highlights his innovative spirit. Beyond education, his compositions for theatre and television underscore a dynamic career dedicated to exploring music’s impact on neurodevelopment.

Neuromotor Immaturity and Form and Function Relationship in the Orofacial Field
Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MD), Dentist (DDS), osteopath (DOM). Expert in Clinical Posturology and Physiological Regulation Medicine. INPP Licentiated. Speaker at courses and conferences, he is a teacher in the master's degree in clinical posturology at the University of Pisa and at various osteopathy schools in Italy and abroad. Past President of the Italian Association of Orofacial Functionalists. For 40 years he has been working on the relationships between dysfunctions of the orofacial sphere, with the related sensorial, motor and cognitive aspects, and the global postural attitude, motor, perceptive and cognitive abilities, according to a clinical model called Orofacial Morpho-Functional Harmonization, which has among its fundamental aspects the evaluation and remodulation of primitive and postural reflexes, through both stimulation programs (i.e.INPP) and specific intraoral stimulations also by means of intraoral appliances.

INPP was established in 1975 by Peter Blythe PhD to investigate the role of underlying physical factors in the presentation of specific learning difficulties, under-achievement, and behavioural problems in children, and agoraphobia and panic disorder in adults.
INPP has developed a reliable and replicable method of identifying signs of immaturity in the functioning of the nervous system and specific methods of intervention.
The INPP method has been in use for 45 years during which time it has been extensively developed, refined and researched.
Sally Goddard Blythe MSc (Psych) is the Director of INPP.
She has worked at INPP since 1988 during which time she has published extensively on aspects of the method and been instrumental in standardising training in the INPP method.
What is meant by Neuromotor Immaturity (NMI) or Neuro-Developmental Delay (NDD)?
Both terms describe immaturity in the functioning of the pathways involved in sensory-motor functioning. The presence or absence of primitive or postural reflexes at key stages in development provide signposts of maturity in the functioning of the central nervous system. NMI describes immaturity in the functioning of motor skills while NDD describes generalised immaturity.
Indicators of NMI can be seen in aspects of posture and coordination.
What does INPP do?
An INPP assessment uses a battery of tests to assess different areas of neuromotor functioning and performance. Based on the assessment results, an individual movement programme will be recommended, tailored to the results of the assessment.
Exercises which take between 3 - 10 minutes per day are carried out once a day under parental supervision at home. Progress if reviewed at 6-8 weekly intervals and exercised adjusted according to progress. The average length of programme is 12 months.
How does INPP work?
INPP in Chester is the international centre for training and practice in the INPP method. The INPP practitioner course has been recognised as being equivalent to 60 credits towards a post graduate qualification. Training in the method is provided by licensed National Principals of INPP in 14 countries. Practitioners of the INPP method practice as Licentiates of INPP.
