It’s not just the big companies you see advertising on TV that do direct cremations. As an Independent Family Funeral Director, we also offer unattended funerals.
Why choose an Independent Funeral Director?
• You will be dealing with one of our Funeral Arrangers face-to-face, rather than a call centre. We know our area and have great relationships with our local hospitals and crematoriums. All deceased we have the honour of caring for are kept with us in either our Broughton or Saltney branches, where your loved one will be cared for in the same way as all deceased in our care, with full respect and dignity.
• We use a hearse to take your loved one on their final journey – not a private ambulance.
• We offer to dress your loved one should you wish, or alternatively they may be gowned.
• We are here to help with any extras you may want. Eg; Viewing in our Chapel of Rest, flowers, keepsakes, arrangement of ashes burial etc. We are on hand to guide you through every step.
• Full cost transparency. At present a direct cremation with us will cost £1,395.00. Costs for any extras you may want will be discussed at time of need.
Finally, an unattended funeral doesn’t have to be a cremation! We can arrange an unattended burial on your behalf (Prices differ to direct cremation depending on cemetery/church fees).
