Today Hayley delivered X20 Snapp-it Wellbeing support packs to support the young people and their families at 🙌💛🙌

Kinship Carers are those family or friends who step up to raise a child. Kinship Chesterfield Is a local support group to support kinship carers in Chesterfield and Notth East Derbyshire areas.

Each pack contains:

X2 Information leaflets
X1 QR wristband
X1 QR phone badge
X1 QR wallet card
X1 QR pin badge
X1 QR Keyring
X1 QR sticker
X3 Fidget toys
X1 pen
X1 pencil

Empowering our young people to get the right support, Snapp-it provides a safe and secure means of reaching out and accessing all your local & national Mental, Emotional, Physical, Sexual and Spiritual Health and Wellbeing service providers.
- The multi-purpose devices are wearable, usable, desirable and practical providing instant 24/7 access to a wealth of national and locally commissioned health and wellbeing support services as well as lots of self help support and fun stuff too through the Snapp-it app 📱 which is accessed via the QR codes on the Snapp-it devices.

All the hard work has been done for them providing the right and most needed information in the easiest, quickest and most intuitive way possible, Ensuring each young person has the right information to make a well informed choice. - Taking the anxiety out of taking action.
Connecting them to the right service so they get the right help at the right time enabling each and every student the best chance to grow into independent healthy adults without carrying the weight of the world with them.

A modern day approach to smart-health, you need something that’s quick and at your fingertips as early identification and intervention is key to reducing and preventing harm, helping to raise a much greater sense of self-awareness and empowerment, it builds self-confidence and strengthens personal resilience through an engaging, educating and empowering platform 🙌📲🙌

What a fantastic bank holiday weekend 🙌☀️🙌

Yesterday Hayley & Jay spent the day at the Calow Gala, glorious sunshine with a wonderful atmosphere. ☀️🕶️🎉🎈🎟️🎪

We gave out lots of support information, So many deep and meaningful conversations had 🙌💙🙌
It was a long and busy day from 8-5 but so busy in such a positive way it went by in a flash!
Our tombola and spin the wheel game we raised £228 for Snapp-it on our stall, lots of free sweets and goodies given out to kiddies too 😊🍬🫧🎟️.

As always it’s a great place to network and meet new people and organisations, plan future collaborations and connect with the community.

We had some absolutely amazing food from not many food vendors at the local galas cater for a vegan diet but they do and the food is pretty special!! 😋🍛🇳🇬🫶🏼

We would like to give a special thanks to Sam and Penny for once again organising such a wonderful event, all the wonderful volunteers who navigate the site, help set it up and who without the ever just wouldn’t run.
All the wonderful singers who performed live on stage throughout the day. 🎤🎵🎶
Every year the event just gets bigger and better.

Yesterday team ’s Hayley & Jay had the pleasure of joining the annual Picnic on the Pitch event in Middlecroft. 🧺🛝🎟️🎉🎈🥪🧁🍭🍬🧃

Vicki at the wonderful Middlecroft Community Network did a fantastic job organising and pulling this wonderful free event together!

It was great place to network with other local organisations, meet local people give out lots of support information and fundraise. - We sold out of tombola! And raised £150 which was fantastic.
We were so busy we hardly had time for photos!!

We were joined by the wonderful Mayor and Mayoresses of Chesterfield Barry D**e, Cllr Dawn Abbott, the wonderful guys at Kinship Chesterfield and Hollingwood Sheds to name only a few.

It was great to see a free event at the heart of the community and see all the local families really embracing the day! 🙌💙🙌

We would like to give a special thanks to Vicki for inviting Snapp-it along once again, Thanks to all the stewards and event volunteers who the event just would not run without! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

On the 28th of June the annual memorial football match took place at Hollingwood in memory of James ‘Dodge’ Farrow.
Not only did Dodges team win but altogether they raised an amazing £1830 which has kindly been donated to Snapp-it.

We are proud to say we have gotten to know the farrow family well over the last few years and through their continued kind and generous support we have supported thousands of young people across Derbyshire in Dodges memory.

We would like to give a special thank you to Deano and Guy for organising the match, everyone who fun raised, donated, played in the matches, turned up on the day to join the event. Also a massive shout out to those who donated incredible raffle prizes which as always massively contributes and makes such a difference. Especially Rachel and Pinney at Malhi Convenience Foodstores. We are proud and humbled to announce that once again Snapp-it is a finalist in The National Children and Young peoples Awards 2025 - Celebrating excellence in Social Care for the category of THE WELLBEING AWARD. 🙌💙🙌
We were finalists last year and it’s such an honour to be recognised once again as a finalist this year for this prestigious national award.

As one of the lucky finalists we have been invited to be interviewed by a specialist judging panel early next month, Where we will get a chance to talk about the work that we do here at Snapp-it and the different our charity makes.
The judging panel will then decide between all the wonderful finalists, following this all the winners will be announced on awards night which will take place on the 3rd of October, 2025 at the ICC, Birmingham.
We are so grateful and thankful just to be nominated, So much that so that words cannot express. Whatever the outcome win or lose we feel truly blessed to have even got through as a finalist.
Myself (Hayley) & Jay wished to share this with everyone because we are only a very tiny volunteer run charity and we put everything we have into giving out very best to those we support.
This last year has been the most challenging yet but despite the struggles we have faced we continue to put our hearts and souls into supporting young people, in aims to improve access to mental health and support services and most importantly prevent teen su***de. 🙌💙🙌

So for us to be a finalist for a national award is truly amazing ! We are so truly blessed, without the continued love and support received from our local community since starting the Snapp-it project 5 years ago then becoming a registered charity in 2024 we simply would not be here.

So we would like to extend our gratitude and give a Special Thanks to the wonderful family and friends of our Community Hero’s who have fundraised in memory of their loved ones, through their continued support, dedication and compassion they have enabled us to reach so many more young people, Inspiring us every single day! 🙌💙🙌

On Saturday we had a fantastic day at the Baton of Hope Derbyshire Staveley Summer Fete which was held at Staveley Hall.

It was a day for all the family with lots of support information from so many wonderful charities, local organisations and community projects.
As well as lots of free family fun and games for the kiddos. 🤹🎯⚽️🛝🍔🍬🍭🍦☕️
Some wonderful singing 🎤🎶🎵 by a few wonderful performers but the highlight for us were the amazing young people at the .

It was also a fantastic opportunity to network with some wonderful organisations and share our support for future collaborations.
We had some extremely deep and meaningful conversations that will probably stay with us forever 💙
We gave out lots of Snapp-it support information and free merchandise out as well as lots of goodies!

But most importantly the Baton Of Hope UK is all about raising awareness of su***de prevention, improving access to information and services so as to prevent su***de. And it was a great opportunity to share that message 💙

Today we delivered X40 Snapp-it wellbeing support packs which will be given out to the young people who attend the Staveley Edge Centre Youth Club. 🙌💙🙌

Each pack contains a wealth of Snapp-it support information card and leaflet, Snapp-it Wristband, Phone badge, Pin badge, Sticker and wallet card so they can access the Free Snapp-it support app in a way that best suits them, as well as fidget toys and pencils. 🙌💙🙌

On Saturday team Snapp-it’s Hayley and Jay attended Chesterfield Pride we were joined by the wonderful Laura and Dale from Time for dads who volunteered their time to come and support as well as spreading awareness of their campaign 🙌💜🙌
Throughout the day we gave out a wealth of support information to everyone who attended, So much so we ran out of stock!
We had so many deep meaningful and powerful conversations about mental health, su***de prevention and the barriers to support with members of the public as well as lots of networking with other agencies and sharing support information. 🙌💙🙌
Lots of Freebie’s given out too! 🍬🍭🍫

It was great to be back at Chesterfield Pride again this year, all the Snapp-it support information and devices such as wristbands, key rings, Pin badges, bags etc.. given out at this event were only made possible through the kind and generous community donations raised by the New Inn, Clay Cross.
Without their support this simply wouldn’t have been possible. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
