Even the rain couldn't put a dampner on our family afternoon. We might not have been able to get out into the garden to play any games but we made the most of our afternoon together.
Shout out to Dennis for keeping us entertained and a huge thank you to Lucy in the kitchen for all the incredible cake's and biscuits.

It was lovely to see so many friends and family.... thank you for joining us and helping to make it an enjoyable afternoon for everyone.

Glenys has thoroughly enjoyed a trip to town. Her eyes lit up as we reached the chocolate isle, not being able to pick a favorite she settled for a box of dairy milk. Glenys is quite the people watcher, where she took great pleasure watching people around town, especially the children playing as she had some coffee and cake. finished off by picking some flowers ready for our next activity 🎂 🍫 💐

On Bank holiday Monday Goldwell Manor hosted it's 1st monthly themed afternoon.
This month the country of choice was Greece 🇬🇷
Residents and visiting family got a chance to try a few Greek favourites, some proved more popular than others.
We shared a few interesting facts about the country as well as sharing individuals experiences of the country and the staff even had a go at traditional Greek dancing.

We've got lots of suggestions and ideas for our model railway and although there's lots of work still to do we couldn't resist having a trial run with the train. 🚉🚆🚄

Fred and Bill spent the afternoon playing dominoes and have agreed that next time they plan on making it even more interesting by playing for toffees and mints.
