What a wonderful morning we had making biscuits, bringing back memories as we rolled up are sleeves washed our hands and a baking we did do. Rolling out the dough with the shape cutters at the ready. We even made gluten free ones too so no one was left out. 🍪🥣🍪

April 21st - National Tea Day ☕

We don't need an excuse to put the kettle on here at Goldwell Manor Care Home but we thought we'd mark National Tea Day by hosting a tea tasting afternoon. 🫖

Lemon and ginger, peppermint and liquorice, peach and Earl grey were just a few of the different selection we had on offer. 🍃🍑🍋🫚🍒🍋‍🟩
Everyone agreed that it made for an enjoyable afternoon and that it's always nice to try something new but it's difficult to beat good old Yorkshire tea. ☕

With the arrival of the eagerly anticipated sunshine we enjoyed a much needed afternoon in the garden.

It was lovely to sit and enjoy the outside space with a cuppa and chat about what our plans for the garden area this summer.

A few of us were only too happy to get our hands dirty and plant a few seeds.

As well as learning something new everyone was treated to a patriotic cupcakes, thanks to the kitchen team.🧁
