Silly Sausage and Hats Away went head to head in teams in a general knowledge quiz that was requested by residents, it was very close with Silly Sausage winning with 14 , who knew that a flock of flamingos 🦩 were called a Flamboyance 🤷‍♀️ all agreed you learn something new everyday. 😊🧠🦩🖋🖍📝

🎃 we’re now in October, which can only mean one thing. HALLOWEEN 🎃 we got creative and worked with our suits to make and name a paper chain skeleton 💀 and we’re all very proud of the outcome. Chatsworth suite named theirs jinx, Hardwick suite naming theirs Mr Smith, Sitwell suite naming theirs Cheeky Charles ( because he looks like he’s sticking his tongue out) and then Scarsdale suite naming theirs Mr Good Good..

On Monday we had the pleasure of welcoming James back. And what a welcome he received. Who doesn’t love being pampered warm flannels to cleanse followed by a lovely hand cream massaged in and then nails painted, Ann even had a a facial face cleansed and massaged with a sensitive face cream, Ann said this is wonderful I feel really good. 😊✋🤚

Buon pomeriggio from all at Goldwell Manor. the lifestyle team held an Italian tasting afternoon and they spoke about some interesting facts of Italy. Residents enjoyed tasting different delicacies from Italy some were enjoyed and some not depended on the individuals taste buds.

Goldwell Manor residents had a lovely morning and afternoon of coffee and cake and enjoyed all meeting each other from the different floors.

the residents came together to recognise MacMillan coffee morning and raised £30.50 for a very good cause.

An afternoon of flower arranging was a great way to get creative and spread a little cheer and colour around the home. It proved to also be a lovely way to learn about each others favourite flowers and reminisce together sharing stories about wedding bouquets, walk's in the country and making daisy chain's.
