For some people, symptoms of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) can feel more noticeable or harder to manage during the winter.

But small things can help:

🔵 try some physical activity – anything that gets you moving
🔵 make the most of natural light – getting outside or sitting near windows
🔵 plan for tougher days – shifting stressful tasks or building in more rest

There’s also treatment available if you’re finding things really tough – such as light therapy, talking therapies or medication.

🌟 Protect your child this winter – get the nasal flu vaccine! 🌟

We’re making great progress with our children’s nasal flu vaccinations and more than half of eligible children have already been protected! 💪

If your child hasn’t had their nasal flu vaccine yet, now’s the perfect time. The vaccine is:
💨 Quick – just a simple nasal spray.
😊 Painless – no needles, easy and stress-free for children.
🛡️ Protective – helps keep your child, your family, and our community safe from flu this winter.

Flu can be very unpleasant for children and can sometimes cause serious problems, such as pneumonia.

Each winter in the UK, thousands of children who do not have a health condition need hospital care because of flu.

Children can catch and spread flu easily. Vaccinating them also helps protect others who are at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu, such as babies, anyone who's pregnant and older people.

It's recommended for children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025 (born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2023) and children with certain long-term health conditions up to the age of 17.

If you haven’t booked yet, please contact us to arrange your child’s nasal flu vaccine. Every vaccination makes a difference! 💙
