‼️⚠️PRACTICE CAR PARK⚠️‼️
Due to scheduled internal building work at the practice, our car park will be unavailable for several weeks. Only one disabled parking bay will be accessible for patients during this time. If you are able to park either in the car park opposite or further down the road, we kindly ask that you do so to help keep the disabled bay free for those who need it most. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

For autumn 2025, COVID-19 vaccination will be offered to:
▪️adults aged 75 years and over
▪️residents in care homes for older adults
▪️individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over
If you are eligible, this will be offered alongside your flu appointment in surgery.
The flu vaccination eligibility remains unchanged. For most adults, the flu vaccine will be available from 1st October 2025. The vaccine is offered from October for these groups because flu typically peaks in December or January, and getting vaccinated from October will provide optimal protection during the highest risk period.
We will be contacting eligible patients via SMS or letter in the next few weeks to offer you an appointment. Please ensure the contact details we hold for you are up to date.

When you find out you are pregnant, you can refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care so you start care with a midwife right away.

Once you sign up online, the maternity team will contact you to book your first appointment with a midwife.

You should do this by the 10th week of pregnancy, if possible, but it’s never too late to start. If you're over 10 weeks, refer yourself as soon as you can.

The UK Government is testing the Emergency Alerts system on Sunday 7th September 2025 at 3pm. Compatible mobile phones and tablets will receive an alert, make a loud siren-like sound and vibrate. You will not need to take any action.

The Emergency Alerts system is used to warn if there’s a danger to life nearby, including extreme weather. Regular testing ensures the system is functioning correctly, should it need to be used in a life-threatening emergency.
