🖐️✨ World Hand Hygiene Day – Clean Hands Save Lives! ✨🖐️

Today we’re supporting World Hand Hygiene Day, a reminder of how something as simple as washing your hands can protect you, your family, and our community.

🧼 When should you clean your hands?
• Before eating or preparing food
• After using the toilet
• After coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose
• After visiting healthcare settings
• When returning home from public places

💡 Top tip: Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds – don’t forget thumbs, fingertips, and between your fingers!

Good hand hygiene helps prevent the spread of infections and keeps everyone safer 💙

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Sometimes people are struggling in ways we can’t see. A small act of kindness can make a big difference.

Emma our amazing receptionist has put together “Pocket Hugs” – a simple reminder that someone cares. If you’re visiting the practice, please feel free to take one for yourself or someone who might need it.

Let’s continue to look out for one another, start conversations, and remind those around us that they’re not alone. 💬

This week is MS Awareness Week 💙

At our practice, this is something particularly close to our hearts, as multiple sclerosis affects someone very close to our team. We see first-hand the challenges it can bring, but also the strength, resilience, and determination of those living with it.

MS is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, and while symptoms can vary, awareness, understanding, and support make a real difference.

If you or someone you know is living with MS, please remember—you are not alone. We’re here to support you, whether that’s through advice, care, or simply a listening ear.

Let’s use this week to raise awareness, show compassion, and support those affected 💙
