🌼 Spring COVID-19 Booster Campaign 🌼

We are now inviting eligible patients to book their Spring COVID-19 booster vaccination.

This booster helps protect those most at risk from serious illness, especially as immunity can decrease over time.

Who can get the spring booster?
✔️ Adults aged 75 and over
✔️ Residents in care homes for older adults
✔️ Individuals aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system

Why it matters
COVID-19 is still circulating, and the booster offers important protection against severe illness and hospitalisation.

How to book
We have now sent all eligible patients a booking link to our clinics:
- Saturday 25th April Calow
- Thursday 30th April Brim

You can come into reception or telephone 01246 220166 to book.

If you’re unsure whether you qualify, please get in touch — our team is happy to help.

Let’s stay protected and keep our community safe 💙

Why take part?

Some studies may offer closer monitoring or additional support

Important information:

Taking part is entirely voluntary
Your decision will not affect your care in any way
You can withdraw at any time
If you are interested in hearing about research opportunities, please let our reception team know or speak to a clinician.

Parents, young people and students are being urged to check their vaccination status following an outbreak of meningitis in other parts of the country.

Meningitis can be very serious if not treated quickly and can cause life-threatening sepsis and result in permanent damage to the brain or nerves.

It can affect anyone but is most common in babies, young children, teenagers and young adults.

Contact the surgery today to check if you are up to date with your immunisations.

A lovely surprise at the surgery today 💚

The wonderful children from Heywood House Nursery popped by and left us these beautiful flowers along with the kindest notes. 🌼

Gestures like this really do brighten our day and mean so much to our whole team. Thank you to the preschoolers (and their teachers) at Heywood House for spreading a bit of kindness in our community. 😊
