Join us for an overview of Tutum Medical's multi award winning Bedside Equipment Alarm Monitoring System (BEAMS).

This informal session will introduce you to the BEAMS technology and system applications. We will also provide impact examples from existing wards where BEAMS is embedded into working practice.

BEAMS is an innovative acoustic monitoring system which detects alarms from bedside medical devices (independent of manufacturer). Staff are notified in spoken native language and by visual notifications as to the location and exact type of alarm sounding, enhancing patient safety and operation efficiencies.

Our Bedside Equipment Alarm Monitoring System (BEAMS) can support you with vital data 👩🏻‍💻

As a key part of the NHS patient safety strategy, the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) centers around learning and improvement.

BEAMS helps ward staff respond to medical alarms more efficiently improving patient safety and workflow. In addition, nurse managers can access detailed reports on bedside medical alarm activity. Reports show which alarms were responded to the quickest and in which location, providing governance insights on ward pressures. Additionally, data highlights alarms acknowledged but not immediately responded to, offering information into clinical decision-making.
