🎉 60-Year Diamond Anniversary… or is it? 💎

Today we celebrated 60 incredible years of Elliott & Heath Opticians serving our wonderful community — what a milestone! 🥳

We were lucky enough to be joined by Mr Elliott himself, from the founding family of Elliott Opticians. Over a cuppa and a good chat, he surprised us with an original appointment book from 1960 📖 — a real piece of optometry history!

Even more fascinating, he shared a memory from his grandfather, who started the business way back in 1920 as a chemist, eventually moving into optometry in the 1950s. Which means… the practice is actually even older than we thought! 😲

So it looks like we’ll be planning another celebration next year:
