One thing we see again and again in Disability Awareness training is this:
Most people do want to do the right thing—but feel unsure in real situations.
For example:
• How do you respond confidently when communication is different?
• How do you offer support without overstepping?
• How do you avoid second-guessing yourself afterwards?
These are very real workplace (and everyday) situations, but many people haven’t had clear, practical guidance on how to handle them.
So instead, they rely on instinct—and often worry afterwards about whether they got it right.
That’s why practical training makes such a difference: it helps build confidence and gives you a clearer way to approach these moments.
