Amanda Marie Kitsull of Poolsbrook has passed away at home aged 46 years young.
Born at Scarsdale Hospital, Amanda had lived locally all her life, starting at Staveley, then Duckmanton before moving to Poolsbrook 22 years ago. She had always been employed in the care sector and was acknowledged as a hard worker who was really good at what she did. She was employed by United Response for many years and more recently, was an area manager for Involve.
Amanda’s number one priority was every child that was in her life. She loved family time – sat outside her house with friends and children – in the pool – drives in her car – and a good old fashioned drinking session.
Amanda leaves her husband – Alan, children – Hope and Cory, grandchildren – Jaden, Jenson, Annaya, Ky-Mani Ann, and Elijah-Blu, dad – Robert, sisters – Bridgit, Tasha, and Jade, brothers – Brett and Allan, nieces and nephews – Robert, Katie, Mia, Nathan, Connie, Kristen, Cherry Rae, Cee-Cee, Arthur, and lots of great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by mum – Tania, and brother – Jay.
Amanda’s funeral will take place at the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Staveley on Monday 15th September at 11am, followed by burial at Brimington Cemetery. Afterwards, there will be a further celebration of Amanda’s life at Poolsbrook Club. The family are encouraging those attending to wear Pjs or lounge wear and bring joy and laughter with them.
