CRT - Care Services

CRT - Care Services CRT was founded in 1985 to provide home care services to both private & social services clients. We

CRT offers domiciliary care service covering North East Derbyshire and Matlock. Established in 1985, we have ample experience and expertise in providing high-quality home care and support services to adults and older people. Our services include personal care, shopping, cleaning, social support and outings, medication support/administration and specialist services. Our care is delivered by highly

skilled and experienced carers who are recruited for their outlook and attitude to care. All staff are fully background checked and receive over the national average level of training including opportunities to undertake care related qualifications. Our ethos and values are good quality, person-centred and non-discriminatory care, all our clients are recognised as individuals. We encourage all our Managers, Care Coordinators and Carers to have empathy and to care for our clients in the way they would want their own parents or loved ones to be cared for. We are the largest provider of home care services in Derbyshire and we are recognised by both the local authority and the Care Quality Commission as providing high-quality services.

National Silence The Shame Day πŸ’œ

The 5th of May each year marks Silence The Shame Day, a national awareness event created to encourage people to open up about their mental health and reduce the negative stigma associated with mental health struggles.

At CRT we want our staff to feel supported and comfortable enough to open up about any issues they may be experiencing. We have support available through our Mental Health Lead, Carol Jackson, who is available to contact for all our carers. There are also blogs and a live chat which are accessible by joining our free employee assistance programme, TELUS Health.

If you would like to speak to Carol please call 07751 82989 or email carol.jackson@dalecare.co.uk. To join TELUS, please email tilly.brown@dalecare.co.uk for your invitation email.

Why YOU Should Pursue a Career in Care πŸ“’

Choosing a career should be about more than just pursing a job, it’s about values, purpose, and impact.

A career in care offers all three. While often misunderstood or underestimated, working in adult social care is one of the most rewarding, flexible, and future‑proof career choices in the UK today.

As demand for care continues to rise, the sector is crying out for compassionate, committed people ready to make a real difference every day.

Voices of Care: What Care Means to Me πŸŽ™οΈ

Care is one of the most powerful forces in our society. It is the thread that connects families, strengthens communities, and supports people to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

For many carers, both paid professionals and those who care for loved ones at home, β€œcare” is more than a job or responsibility. It is a deeply personal experience, shaped by compassion, resilience, and the desire to make a difference.

As part of our Voices of Care series, we’re shining a light on what care truly means to the people who give and receive it every day.
