Proud to be supporting Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust with their February Heel Pressure Ulcer awareness campaign. With permission from MFT to share, this campaign focuses on raising awareness of heel pressure ulcers, how they develop, and, crucially, how they can be prevented through early intervention and correct use of approved heel offloading products.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be visiting wards across MFT hospital sites, working alongside clinical teams to:

• Highlight why heel pressure ulcers matter
• Reinforce the importance of proactive heel elevation before damage occurs
• Support correct use of the Trust’s approved heel offloading solutions, including HeelPro Advance.

This is a fantastic example of a Trust-led initiative, and it’s great to be able to support frontline teams with education, awareness, and practical solutions that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Credit to MFT for creating and leading this campaign, looking forward to sharing more as we continue our ward visits over the next few weeks.

As part of Scotland’s national CPR for Feet campaign, TalarMade has played a key role in helping hospitals reduce inpatient iatrogenic foot ulceration in people with diabetes.

By providing our clinically proven Prolevo pressure care solutions, backed by a dedicated team delivering hands-on education and ongoing clinical support, TalarMade has enabled healthcare teams to reduce avoidable pressure damage during hospital stays and make foot protection a routine part of care.

This campaign shows how simple, evidence-based interventions, backed by the right products and partnerships, can deliver national-level impact and change lives.
