Derbyshire Mobility made its way into the mobility industry way back in 1998, we began by opening our first shop in Ripley which is still there today, with the goal of providing top-quality specialist medical equipment; mobility scooters, stairlifts, wheelchairs, accessories, and more, to the Derbyshire area and beyond.

Now almost 25 years later, we are much closer to achieving that goal. We have since opened up an additional shop in Matlock, taken on industry specialists, and expanded our list of products, services, and suppliers.

Located at The Glass Yard across from Technique Stadium, Derbyshire Mobility has now expanded into Chesterfield, grown in size, and will very soon be opening up its doors to its brand-new mobility superstore!

It features 2 floors, with a huge range of choices from mobility scooters, stairlifts, bespoke wheelchairs, furniture, accessories, and much more.

The upstairs will be run by our wheelchair and seating specialist, Craig who will be able to provide you with the right product to suit your needs; whether you are wanting something to assist in walking the dogs, going on long journeys, or just something to aid you around the house.

Derbyshire Mobility's slogan has always been Creating Independent Lives and this is something that the whole team feels very strongly about.

If we can help just one person feel that little bit more independent then that is our job done.
