🧠✨ Today is - a powerful reminder that our minds deserve as much care as our bodies.

This week, I took my first real step towards prioritising my own mental wellbeing with a reflexology appointment. It was calming, grounding, and exactly what I needed. During the session, the practitioner gently reminded me to schedule two things a week just for me. Not work, not errands, just moments that nourish me. That advice hit home, and it’s something I’ll be implementing from now on.

Mental health isn’t a luxury. It’s ’s a necessity. Whether it’s a walk, a treatment, a chat with a friend, or simply saying “no” when you need to, it all counts. Let’s keep talking, keep checking in, and keep making space for ourselves.

✨ Why I Sometimes Say “No” ✨

One of the most important parts of my role is knowing when not to treat a patient. My priority will always be safety, ethics, and realistic outcomes, even if that means turning someone away.

Here are some situations where I may decline treatment:
🚫 Under 18 - It’s illegal to treat anyone under the age of 18, regardless of consent.
🤰 Pregnant or breastfeeding - Safety always comes first; treatments can wait until it’s the right time for your body.
🎭 Unrealistic Expectations - A few millilitres of filler won’t give you a surgical facelift. I want you to feel informed, empowered, and confident about what’s achievable.
⚖️ Medical Concerns - Certain health conditions, medications, or skin issues can make treatment unsafe. Your well-being comes before aesthetics.
🧠 Motivations Matter - If someone is seeking treatment for the wrong reasons (pressure from others, emotional distress, or masking deeper issues), I’ll gently recommend waiting or seeking the right kind of support first.

I’ll always be honest with you. Even if that means saying no because I care about your well-being as much as your results. My goal is to help you feel empowered, safe, and confident.
