✨ SkinTox Treatment – Subtle Freshness, Natural Results ✨

This is my lovely sister, who has just had SkinTox — a gentle, advanced treatment designed to improve skin texture, refine pores, soften fine lines, and give the skin a smoother, more polished look.

What is SkinTox?
In simple terms, SkinTox is a very light form of toxin placed superficially in the skin rather than the muscle. It doesn’t freeze expression. Instead, it helps the skin look clearer, tighter, and more refined, especially around areas where makeup can settle or pores are visible.

✨ A small win for me… a big win for her. ✨
When we work on the aging mouth area, especially when the skin has been through a lot, results often come in small, careful steps. This lovely patient has seen me over several visits because her case was complex and her skin needed time, support and patience.

I’ll be honest—at first I felt a little anxious that she might be disappointed, even though I had set the expectation that the result would be subtle, not dramatic.

But here’s the lesson I was reminded of today:
What feels like a “modest” improvement to me can feel truly life-changing to someone else.

She loves wearing lipstick, and now she feels confident doing it again. That smile, that boost… that’s the real result. 💄✨

Subtle work can still make a big difference. And that’s why I love what I do. 💕

⭐️ Read this if you use retinals and have microneedling!⭐️

Pause retinals 3 days before your treatment and wait at least 4 days after before restarting. Your skin is more sensitive on retinals, and this break helps prevent irritation and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Microneedling already kickstarts collagen. Adding retinals too soon can slow healing and cause redness or dark marks. There’s no benefit to rushing — your retinals will actually work better once your barrier has recovered.

During healing, stick to:
• Hydrating serum
• Ceramide-rich moisturiser
• SPF 50 daily

Avoid for 4 days after:
• AHAs/BHAs
• Benzoyl peroxide
• Retinoids/retinol/retinals
• Exfoliants or anything “tingly”

Simple rule:
If your skin is still pink, warm, or tight → don’t restart retinals.

Can I ask everyone a favour please?

PLEASE can patients compete their Medical History and Consent forms that are emailed out before the appointment?

During this busy period it would really take the pressure off us and I am sure you could do without being cajouled into it before your treatment.

If you need help, have a concern or want to clarify something this is of course acceptable.

We understand that sometimes it feels inconvenient or repetitive to do so.

However please be aware that this administration is what keeps our clinic COMPLIANT and our medical insurance VALID .

This is mandatory before all medical aesthetic treatments.We CAN NOT proceed without informed consent and you confirming your Medical History.

It really only takes a couple of mins to do at home🥰
