The first (social distance) class back in the studio will be Sunday Service with Colin October 4th 10am - 11.15am - £9 - 8 places
Booking will open for all classes from Sunday 27th September
We will be running on a smaller schedule
There will be no price increases but we do have less mat space available due to COVID-19 social distancing (8 - 10)
We fall in the category of a sports based class, so the latest government rule of a collective 6 does not apply to us
Please arrive in a mask, this can be removed once we start class
We are legally required to request the contact details of everyone coming to class
It is a legal requirement to provide your name & contact number when booking
This information has to be kept for 21 days so everyone is traceable

Colin & Lauren are both BWYQ Level 4 Yoga teachers (we trained together & still do) QCF National framework (Foundation Degree) with over 1000 hours in continued qualifications & development in Yoga/Menopause/Pregnancy/Anatomy/Therapy/Nutrition/+ elements of most official Yoga systems our classes include (Iyengar, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Bikram) plus elements of Yin, Therapy, Restorative & Vinyasa complete with a strong focus on anatomy. Over 18 months in 2013/2014 we lovingly restored a beautiful 600 year old oak beamed, oak floored barn in central Chesterfield, we installed economical underfloor heating, we keep it at a minimum of 21 degrees, it runs on water in concrete, & feels warmer as the heat is coming from under you rather than from artificial electric heating
We are an independent Yoga Space, an extension of our home rather than a business model studio, in 2017 we found a house just around the corner so we could live a simpler life. 2019 was our 6th year.
We hope to return to using eco products within the studio, & we never used diffusers/candles/incense while a class is in progress

Play around with it, it’s very easy to use, start a meeting and check you can see yourself and your space

You will be sent a password and link to each class directly off the book when siteI also send the link to class approx. 20 minutes before class to those booked on
HEALTH
Let us know of any issues by email/text before class or right at the beginning of class before we start
GENERAL
Consider practising where your WIFI is strongest, Close all other apps and check your device is charged
Wear your usual yoga clothes, pj’s are great on a Sunday morning, have your mat, any padding/layers, improvising with props (use books/blankets/cushions ect...) check you have space to practice safely, walls are great for alignment
Most people arrive with 2 minutes to spare, if you are new or wish to chat, join 10/15 minutes before we start, ensure you are set up & in a good place to start
Check video and audio, at the start of the class check you are on speaker view and mute your microphone
At the close of the class we unmute your microphone so we can chat if you want to
Classes are suitable for anyone with an average fitness level & who doesn't have any serious medical issues..
The word hatha literally means 'effort' 'force' or 'exertion'hatha yoga technically refers to an approach to Yoga which begins with exertion or physical effort. We work from modified up, be mindful & use this time online to practice safely & to your best ability with alignment & intelligence
You will expect to find elements of most official Yoga systems in our classes
