My turn…
Ahimsa.. the first of the Yamas.. it’s a yoga thing.. ‘non harming’ cultivating compassion, kindness, having a positive impact in how you treat yourself & other beings..
I am not on linked in neither have we ever felt the need to market, a wise yoga teacher said teach what you love & your people will come, we aren’t for everyone but those who do love us stay because it’s a two way connection & yoga is so much more than just stretching & strengthening, yoga is far more powerful than that.. persistency, consistency on both sides is where the magic & love for the practice happens & for some it remains
I’m not even sure why Rebecca chose to write about Colin with no prompt from us but she knows us as a yoga space/teachers extremely well, starting with us in 2017 in the Tuesday class, moved into Wednesday.. before covid people used to sit where they liked, Rebecca had her favourite spot, & I always remember her endless battle (light banter.. but she meant business) with another student over her space.. sometimes having to admit defeat..
I totally understand why Rebecca needed that particular space, even in the new studio she has the same spot, I tried to move her, simply because the beam above was too low.. but no..
Yes we do care about our students if they stick around long enough, just as they care about us…
Like all of us Rebecca has her quirks, she often makes us smile, her proprioception is like mine 🤣 & now I’m laughing out loud at Rebeccaisms..
I do however know how to use google
