Today was one of our ladies Susan own choice for Residents Special Day at Springbank House Care Home - Hill Care Chesterfield🤩🤩
Susan chose to have a shopping trip by local bus to buy some new summer clothes followed by lunch out👗👚🥙🍲🍛☕️
She bought some lovely new things and enjoyed her lunch out the sun even shone🌞☀️
After shopping until we nearly dropped we made our way back to the home for a cuppa with a shopping haul to see what she had purchased😍😍

At Springbank House Care Home - Hill Care chesterfield one of our ladies does not normally choose to take part in many of the activities at the home but today Pat did choose to be creative and paint some daffodils to pay tribute to St Davids day yesterday and for Marie Curie as the daffodil is their emblem🌼
But Pat did not stop there she also helped to make Irish flags to use for our St Patricks celebrations in a few weeks time🍀🇮🇪
When residents do choose sometimes to take part in our daily activities it makes it extra special to watch them take part ❤️

This afternoon we at Springbank House Care Home - Hill Care chesterfield welcomed our lovely four legged friend Rosie and her owner Martin from Pets as Therapy to celebrate Love your pet Day🐕🦮🐶🐕‍🦺🐩🐾
We are fully aware Rosie belongs to Martin but we all feel that we love Rosie so much she feels like our pet❤️❤️
The residents had a great time making a fuss of Rosie and receiving lots of cuddles🥰
Thank you to Martin and Rosie for giving up your free time to visit us we really appreciate it and always look forward to your visits every month🤩🤩

Could anyone donate any items for our Easter Raffle which will be drawn on the 6th of April after our Easter show with music from duo Paper Kite at 2pm🐰🐣
If anyone could donate then anything suitable to make Easter hampers and gift baskets would be fantastic such as chocolate and easter eggs🐰🥚
Raffle tickets are £1 per strip see Jayne our Activity coordinator for your tickets🎟
The money raised is to take the residents to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in the late Spring
Thank you for your support without this we could not do the extra special trips and visits out🙏

Happy Saint Davids Day Today from Springbank House Care Home - Hill Care chesterfield🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
We have flown the welsh flag displayed the yellow daffodils and listened to music from the welsh valleys remembering times spent in wales for holidays or visits this morning 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿many of the residents have happy memories of wales and Anne lived in Abersoch for some years and treated us to a few welsh words 🤣😂
