✨ Friday Feeling ✨

How lovely has the weather been these past few days ☀️

Have you felt the shift?

A lift in your mood…
A little more energy…
That subtle glow returning ✨

It’s amazing what a bit of sunlight can do,
not just for the body, but for the mind too. 😃

But if you’re not quite feeling it yet…
that’s okay too 💙

Sometimes your body just needs a little extra support.

✨ A moment to pause
✨ A chance to reset
✨ Time to reconnect

Maybe that’s your sign to book in and give yourself that space 💙💚

STOP EARNING YOUR REST
🚨 You don’t need to be exhausted to
deserve rest.

Read that again…

Not burnt out.
Not overwhelmed.
Not running on empty.

Just… allowed.

Because the truth is
most people don’t stop until their body forces them to.

The headaches.
The tight shoulders.
The constant tiredness.

That’s not random.
That’s your body asking for a pause…
and being ignored.

✨ Rest isn’t a reward
✨ It’s maintenance
✨ It’s how you stay well,
not just recover

So today, instead of pushing through pause before you hit the wall.

Even 10 minutes.
Even one deep breath.
Even saying no.

Because looking after yourself early…
is far more powerful than “fixing”yourself later. 💚💙

Do you ever wake up feeling tired even though you slept well? 😐
Or notice aches in your body when you’ve not really done anything physical? 😐

This can often be a sign that your nervous system is holding tension.

Stress, busy minds and everyday pressures can keep the body in a subtle state of alert, even when we think we’re resting.

Over time this can show up as:
• tiredness
• general aches
• restless sleep
• feeling out of balance

Treatments such as foot, hand and facial reflexology, face acupressure or Indian head massage can help encourage the body back into a state of rest and restoration, allowing it to release built up tension.

Sometimes the body doesn’t need more sleep…
it simply needs the opportunity to reset.

A little Monday honesty…🌿

I usually schedule my posts for the week on Sundays, giving myself time to prepare engaging, informative and hopefully enlightening content.

But yesterday was a little different.

I’m walking Scafell Pike in August, so I went out with 3 friends in the morning, (from the group of 8…maybe more!) to start getting some miles in.🚶

It wasn’t quite the walk we planned.
We unintentionally diverted and it took longer than expected.🤦‍♀️

By the time I got home, spending time with my mum felt far more important than sitting down to write posts.

It reminded me that while planning and being organised is helpful, life doesn’t always follow the schedule we create. Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones that ask us to slow down and be present with the people who matter most.

So today’s reminder is simply this…

Even when things don’t go to plan, it doesn’t mean the day was lost.
Sometimes it just means something more important needed your time.🌿

Have a lovely day!

Today we celebrate the women who nurture, guide, support and love in ways both seen and unseen.🌿

Mothers, grandmothers, step mums, carers and the many women who offer that quiet, steady care throughout our lives.🌿

But today can hold many different emotions.

For some it’s a day of celebration.
For others it may bring reflection, longing, or memories of a mum who is no longer here.

If that’s you today, please know you’re not alone. The love you hold for those lost never truly leaves, it simply changes the way it lives in our hearts.

And for the mums who spend so much of their time caring for others, today is also a reminder that you deserve care too. 🌿

A moment to pause.
A moment to breathe.
A moment to simply be.

Sending warmth and gentle wishes to everyone today, whatever this day means for you. 💚

A day that can be yours 🌿

Saturday can be many things, busy, social, productive.

But it can also be a day to reconnect with yourself.🥰

Whether it’s:
• A walk in nature
• Time with a book
• Movement or stretching
• A treatment that helps you unwind

Taking even an hour for yourself can help restore the balance that the week may have taken away.

What does your Saturday look like today? I’m going out with friends for a meal and walk 🌿

Friday Feelings 💕

Friday often arrives with a collective exhale.🌿

The end of the week is a chance to release the pressures we’ve carried and gently shift into rest.🌿

Take a moment today to check in with yourself.🌿

Wellness isn’t always about big changes.🌿
Sometimes it’s simply about allowing yourself to slow down.🌿

Looking after those who matter most 💕

One of the most important parts of caring for others is making sure we are well ourselves.
💕
When we are constantly tired, overwhelmed or stressed, it becomes harder to be patient, present and supportive.💕

Looking after your own wellbeing allows you to:
• Be more present
• Have greater emotional resilience
• Respond rather than react
• Show up with energy and patience

Self-care is not about putting yourself first.
It’s about making sure you have enough in your cup to share with others.💕

Because when you are well, those around you benefit too.💕

What You may experience during a Session 🥰

Everyone experiences holistic treatments slightly differently, but many clients notice similar responses during a session.🥰

You may experience:
• A deep sense of relaxation
• Warmth or tingling in different areas
• Slower breathing
• A quiet mind
• Sometimes emotional release or drifting into sleep

This happens because the body moves into the parasympathetic state, often called the rest and restore mode.

It’s the state where the body can release tension, regulate systems and restore balance.🥰

Every session is unique, but the intention is always the same, to support your body in doing what it already knows how to do best.

What Is the main reason for Self-Care? 🌿

Self-care is often misunderstood as something indulgent. 🌿

In reality, it is maintenance for the nervous system.🌿

When we constantly give our energy to work, family, responsibilities and others, our body can stay in a state of low level stress. Over time this can affect sleep, mood, focus and physical wellbeing.

Self-care allows the body to:
• Reset
• Regulate stress hormones
• Improve sleep quality
• Restore emotional balance

Looking after yourself isn’t selfish.
It’s how you ensure you have the energy and resilience to keep showing up for life and for those around you.

Why Choose Holistic Therapies?

In a world that often focuses on symptoms, holistic therapies look at the whole person, body, mind, and emotional wellbeing.

Treatments such as reflexology, face acupressure and Indian head massage work by encouraging the body to return to a state of balance. Rather than forcing change, they support the body’s natural processes of rest, repair and regulation. 🌿

Many people choose holistic therapies because they want:
• Time to pause and reset
• Support during stressful periods
• Relief from physical tension
• A moment to reconnect with themselves

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for our wellbeing is simply allow the body space to unwind and restore.💚💙
