We provide a friendly and professional physiotherapy service for children aged 0-18 years in and around the Chesterfield area. Following an in-depth initial assessment carried out by a highly specialised and experienced paediatric physiotherapist, an individually tailored treatment programme is devised depending on each child’s specific needs. Treatment is provided using expert knowledge creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere whilst working towards clear and goal directed outcomes. It is typical for us to work alongside families, carers and other professionals involved in the child’s life. By co-ordinating care we are able to provide an optimum and patient centred experience. Our aim is to enable and encourage every child to develop to their full potential.

💷 £36/hour | Flexible 3–15+ hrs/week | Day time/evenings/weekends | Self Employed | Chesterfield & Surrounding Areas

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our friendly, child-centred team. We work with clients from birth to young adults, supporting children with a wide range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmental needs.

You’ll deliver physiotherapy both in our fully equipped clinic and out in the community – including homes, schools, and nurseries.

What we’re looking for:
✅ BSc (hons) Degree in Physiotherapy
✅HCPC registration
✅ Minimum 2 years’ paediatric experience
✅ Ideally experience in both neurology and orthopaedics
✅ Excellent communication & organisation skills
✅ Full UK driving licence & own car
✅ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
⭐ Desirable: CSP (or alternative governing body) membership, community experience, and additional paediatric training (e.g., Bobath, Hydrotherapy, Rebound Therapy).

We offer:
✨ £36/hour (self-employed)
✨ Flexible hours to suit you (3–15 hrs/week)
✨ Supportive, family-focused environment

A few weeks ago, our physiotherapist showed you the Makaton sign for to eat — and now one of the amazing children we support is showing us her skills.

We love seeing Makaton used in sessions to help every child communicate, connect and shine. Our physiotherapists are all trained in Makaton to make therapy more inclusive for everyone.

We know the summer holidays can be a juggle for families!
For our Outdoor Summer Special, we’re making the most of the extra space and inviting you to bring a sibling along for just £5.
(please let us know if you want a sibling to attend and bring cash on the day 🤗)

As lovely as the outdoors is, it’s important to note:

- Surfaces are uneven and grassy, and it may be harder to get around than in our usual indoor space.
- We’ll have basic camp-style toilet facilities, but no disabled changing facilities on site.
- Seating areas and tuff trays will still be available, and we’ll have a small water play zone to enjoy.
- Staff will be on hand throughout to support you and your little ones.

We understand that the outdoor setting may not be suitable for all families, especially where accessibility is a concern.

We want you to feel confident in making the right decision for your child.

Please know:

You’re very welcome to speak to your physio or a member of our team if you have any questions or concerns
We’re happy to send a video or photos of the location in advance so you can assess if it feels right for your child.
Ultimately, the decision is yours - and we fully support you in choosing what’s best for your family.
