You’re pregnant. Your body is changing, you might be feeling nervous or anxious, you want to exercise but not sure what’s safe! You want to enjoy this journey, but there’s a lot going on!

I’ve got you.

I have crafted a course using the experience of my three pregnancies and my years of teaching yoga, to using my SEED method:

Strength and movement
Education on pelvic floor and understanding your body
Empowerment through breathwork and mindset
Deep relaxation through yoga Nidra

All the above are what I believe it takes to embrace your pregnancy, feel energised, empowered and calm.

Can you twist when pregnant???

Honestly, the jury is out on this one, and it’s really up to you.
BUT….my advise? Why would you risk it?

I have practiced yoga all the way through my 3 pregnancies, but my practice has looked very different through each trimester and each pregnancy!

One thing I always miss is a good deep twist.
But it has never felt right to twist as I would usually.

This open twist ☝️still gives me the juicy sensation I’m after, and that much needed upper back movement, without the feeling of squashing or compressing my lower abdomen.

How to work your pregnant abs!!! (Gently)

You have to be more careful with your abs training when growing a human, the re**us abdominis (outer layer/ 6 pack) have to separate to make space for baby, so we need to be mindful of this!

But there are a few more gentle ways we can safely activate and work the deeper muscles (transverse abdominis).

This little humming breathwork activates the deeper muscles, you may even notice your bump lift as you exhale on the hum. It’s a favorite with my pre-natal students, I enjoy practicing it too.

QUICK BOOST OF ENERGY!!

Pregnancy is exhausting, there’s no escaping it, but there are a few things you can do to boost energy when needed.

Taking good quality deep breaths is a remedy for many complaints, and it’s also one of the BEST things you can do for fatigue.

This 3 part breathing technique is a classic yogi breath, and I use it ALL the time in my pregnancy classes.

It’s simple, so affective and baby enjoys a deep breath into the belly too 😌
