Today the residents and staff of Tenchley Manor have been marking Armistice Day. Some made remembrance crosses to display in the grounds of Tenchley Manor with their own messages. Staff and residents shared 2 minutes silence to the remember those gone but not forgotten. We finished the day with an afternoon tea in the lounge.

Looking back at some our lovely memories form last year when the weather was very hot and sunny. Looking forward to more days in the sunshine in our beautiful garden.

We took part in the today it was great fun looking to see which ones we had in the garden. We also are designed our own butterflies. We are lucky to have a variety of wildlife visit us here in the garden. 🦋

Fun in the sun today 🌞 with such lovely weather today, the residents enjoyed a fish and chip lunch in the beautiful garden. We listened to lots of lovely music from the 70s 🎼.

We enjoyed a lovely buffet today, the cake was made by our lovely Lucy & boy it tasted as good as it looks. We then had a DJ session where the residents picked the music 🎼🍰

We had a variety session all about dreams. Was a really interesting session with a quiz, poems, famous songs like “dream a little dream”. This lead to a very funny conversation about strange dreams. These were a few of them. 🛌😴☁️🐑

Come on England. ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We are getting ready to watch the big match. As England are playing Germany we have fish and chips to represent England and German sausage on the menu. 🌭🐟

We took our Val to see the lovely poppies yesterday as they are her favourite. 🌺. They have been very beautiful this year.

We had fun playing along to music from all different eras inclunding songs from musicals. This led on to watching the classic film singing in the rain 🎼☂️🥁🌂
