These are the latest figures showing the percentages of our patient population vaccinated according to the vaccine cohorts.

Residential care home: 79.1%
Age Group: 80y+: 88.3%
Age Group: 75-79y: 88.6%
Age Group: 70-74y: 81.4%
COVID-19 high risk: 49.6%

We are continuing to work hard to ensure every patient gets a timely invite to have a vaccine.

COVID VACCINATION UPDATE

Over the past 16 days the Witterings Medical Centre has worked in collaboration with other local GP services to provide the COVID19 vaccination to our patients.

We have now vaccinated 15.4% of our patients. This includes all eligible care home residents and 84.8% of our over 80s. This week we will be vaccinating our house bound patients as we have received a supply of AstraZenica vaccine which does not have such complex storage problems.

We have been working with a wonderful team of local GPs, nurses, administrators and volunteers to ensure that the vaccine programme is rolled out as safely and quickly as possible.
