There’s nothing quite like a beautifully cooked roast to bring people together. Today our residents enjoyed a delicious roast chicken dinner, served with golden potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and all the comforting flavours of home.

And because every great meal deserves a sweet ending… we finished with a classic trifle, layered with fruit, cream, and a little touch of indulgence ✨

📰 STOP PRESS… HE’S ALIVE! 🕺🎤

We had a very special visitor at Lakeview Grange today — Elvis himself popped in to sing for our residents!

Yes, you read that right! Elvis was in the building, entertaining everyone with all the classics. There were lots of happy faces, singing along and reminiscing, making it a truly lovely afternoon enjoyed by all.

What a fantastic time — thank you to our brilliant Elvis tribute for such a memorable visit 👑🎶

Capturing memories from those who made this country what it is today
Lakeview Grange resident, Mr Derek Parsons served in the British Royal Navy for over 30 years, joining the Royal Navy in 1955 aged 18 and worked his way up to Commander.
Mr. Craig Rathbone, Chairman of the West Wittering Royal British Legion invited Derek and his son Simon, who also served for 18 years in the British Royal Navy to join them for an afternoon of sharing stories and to raise a glass to those whom we lost during conflict. It was also an opportunity for Derek and Simon to pin poppies on their ‘Poppy wall’ which stands proud in the main reception area of the Royal British Legion. West Wittering branch.
Derek said – ‘If you worked hard and did your job properly you would get advancement – Its about belonging. Just great fun where they looked after you. Sharing stories today is what keeps the memories alive’.

There was lots of energy flying around the room this afternoon as volunteer Jenny, Mary and residents living on Goodwood Lane set the afternoon alight their drum fit session. Blimey, I was worn out just taking the photos 😅
