IMPORTANT CHANGES TO POWER ON THE BEACH FROM MONDAY 01.12 📢
On the bananas high of an INCREDIBLE summer with you bunch - THANK YOU - Pop Ups on Bracklesham beachfront continued through Autumn, and now into Winter.
The British weather is wild, and out of my control (shocker).
These four tiles tell you everything you need to know. 📌
From Monday, POWER on the Beach will be SPONTANEOUS. There will be no fixed schedule. 🍌
SPONTANEOUS weekdays and weekends have worked brilliantly before. And, you had to be quick on the banana button, to book.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
Typically 48 hrs before, if there’s a blue skies forecast, or a guaranteed (as can be) silver, dry and calm day … 🍌
I’ll open up the date to book on the POWER website.
I'll post on social media stories - click the bell to be first to know.
I’ll send an email alert to the ‘Beach bunch.

The best news about this important change is that we’ll be together in the community when it’s the best weather for scribbling on bananas.
And, it creates space and time for me to focus on everything I want POWER to be (instead of my current Met office obsession, juggling bookings and drying / cleaning wet, salty bikes).

From Venice Beach 2018 to Bracklesham beach 2025 - new Thanksgiving memories. ✨
“Thanks for a wonderful morning - really changed my mindset for the better. Happy TG.” - a post-POWER message from one of the week in week out, bunch. 💬
New to the bunch, from London - heard about it, Googled it, booked it - scribbled ELATED on their first POWER banana. 🍌
And when they rocked up for the first time today, in the dark, on a mizzly November morning, they “couldn’t believe it was real”.
I too pinch myself. THANKFUL for you bunch.
And thankful to that me, from 7 years ago, who got on that plane, flew back to the UK and peeled POWER off the vision board (making new Thanksgiving memories possible, today).

Breaking the Silence: Stories of Strength
We are hosting an important and inspiring event, Breaking the Silence, at Arundel Town Hall on Thursday, 4 December.
This special evening invites you to hear powerful personal stories from women in our community and to learn more about the life-changing work our charity delivers. Together, we’ll raise vital funds and awareness around domestic abuse and create a space for reflection, understanding, and hope.
Guests will enjoy canapés, a welcome drink, and a warm welcome to the beautiful Arundel Town Hall.
Tickets: £20 per person (includes canapés and welcome drink)

First unload, bonkers rain came from nowhere and the bikes had to go back inside. 🙈
The bikes came back out again, in a dry gap, and we were back in the game. 🌈
Scroll to the last slide: I couldn't pull my hood up any tighter, and MY FACE - that 0.0001 second when I questioned my decision - the end of track one when it rained, again *sideways*. 🙈

The POWER Garage is real, it’s raw, it’s where it all began, and it’s where it all begins. The Garage was designed to be a space to test kit and rides with friends during the Winter 2019, in the build towards the intended launch of POWER-To-You - workplaces, festivals, community spaces, private hire, in Spring 2020. The Garage became Home to POWER in the Garage rides until Covid-19 hit, and the world changed beyond recognition.
I invested in the kit required to take the business online which initially went against everything I wanted POWER to be. However, I believe I've found a way that stays true to POWER values, via the online medium. The Garage then became the stage for POWER Online - live rides via Zoom. I launched POWER Online in April 2020, in a ‘bike or no bike’ format - anyone and everyone can ‘ride’ e.g. walkers, runners, gardeners. Anyone with an internet connection, headphones and an open mind is welcome - emphasising POWER to simply be the decision to put down your phone for 30 or 45 minutes and ‘ride’. The bike or no bike concept reinforces my core intention for POWER to be more than a endorphin-boosting, sweat-inducing workout, POWER is physical and mental strength, on and off the bike.
The ride connects the tribe. My vision for POWER Online is a big hearted open-minded tribe of 'riders' thriving and navigating this uncertain time together. POWER is connection. Connection is POWER.
