Meet Jennie, the newest member to the CMG team.

Hi everyone,

I'm really happy to say I’ve recently joined the team here at Cathedral Medical Group as Business Manager, so I thought I’d introduce myself. As Business Manager, I am responsible for strategic direction, and work closely with the Practice Manager and the Operations Manager to keep the practice running smoothly.

A little about me: I’ve worked in my role in General Practice for 27 years, and have recently moved from a practice in Southampton. I am genuinely passionate about the NHS, having grown up with parents who were a GP and a Practice Manager. When I’m not at work, I’m usually being ignored by my two grown-up boys (apparently they have “lives” now) and bossed around by my three cats, who know who rules the house!

To unwind, I’m big on anything creative — painting, glass crafts, or just trying something new. I am absolutely at my happiest when I'm creating.

One thing I’m really keen to do here is grow our Patient Participation Group. It’s a brilliant way for patients to help shape what we do, share ideas, and make the practice even better. If you’ve ever had a thought like “Why don’t they…?” or “It would be great if…”, the PPG is the perfect place to say it out loud. If you’re interested to know how to get involved, please get in touch!

With the bank holiday approaching, make sure you've ordered your repeat prescription ☀️💊

With the bank holiday approaching, make sure you order your repeat prescription in good time to avoid any delays in getting your medicines.

GP practices and pharmacies may have different opening hours, so it’s best to plan ahead and not leave it until the last minute.

Find out how to order your repeat prescription here, including via the NHS App: https://nhs.uk/nhs-services/prescriptions/how-to-order-a-repeat-prescription/
