Today is Su***de Prevention Awareness day in the UK, a subject that is close to all our hearts. Here are 3 things that we live by to support our wellbeing:
1. Schedule time for yourself each week, ideally outside - no matter what you do with your time, make it about you, for you.
2. Connect with others - Join a local group, say hi to people you pass and have conversations with strangers in your community. These acts will help you feel connected, seen, heard and valued.
3. Eat and drink well - what you fuel yourself with has a direct impact to how your body regulates and your brain functions. It’s all connected, love your body and your body will love you back.
And don’t forget that there is help out there, you aren’t alone, you are loved and valued!
