My nephew recently had a heavy and awkward fall at the beach. There was a lot of pain and he was worried about it.

"WHAT do I do? It really hurts and it's swollen and I can't walk on it...?"

He was on holiday. I could only give advice.
RICE ! It was a fresh injury.
Rest
Ice
Elevation
Exercise

It helped, I got his parent to also massage and find some strapping for support for a few days too.

Sprained ankles are common in children. A moments lack of concentration, a dip in the ground... I have had my fair few too!

If he had been able to have an osteo treatment it would have speeded up the healing massively but apparently a ticket to Malaysia wasn't in the deal! 😆😉 He had to compromise...

If you or your children have similar, along with the swelling, pain, bruising etc PLEASE bring them in EARLY!
It makes a big difference to the outcome and how the rest of their summer holidays will go...
