Kings Lodge Nursing Home Enriching the lives of our residents and inspiring moments of joy is at the heart of everything we do

Kings Lodge is a purpose built Nursing Home on the south coast situated on the edge of Chichester harbour. The Home caters for 77 residents providing care to male and females over the age of 65 for long and short term stays who may require nursing care. Facilities include a high dependency unit and provisions for respite, intermediate and general nursing care as well as EMI nursing care. Our Home has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with family visits welcomed at any time. Refreshments are available for visitors at all times and arrangements can be made for residents to eat their meals with their guests in private.

If you are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, Aria care will offer a supportive and nurturing environment to grow, both professionally and personally. There’s nothing quite as calming and soothing as a peaceful stroll through the garden. 🌞 Today, one of our wonderful residents took a moment to enjoy the vibrant colours of the flowers and even helped us water them! 🌼💧 It’s these simple joys that bring so much happiness and tranquility to our days.

🐦✨ Person-Centred Moments at Kings Lodge ✨🐦

Today was all about bringing joy, comfort, and meaningful memories to one of our lovely residents. Knowing his love for birds, we spent the morning decorating his room with beautiful bird-themed décor – creating a peaceful, nature-inspired space just for him. 🌿💛

The smile on his face said it all! To make it even more special, we gifted him a sensory bird that chirps gently – perfect to hold on his lap or simply enjoy the calming sounds. 🐤🎶

Person-centred and sensory activities like this are so important to us at Kings Lodge. They help boost self-esteem, evoke warm memories, and most importantly – make our residents feel truly seen and valued. 💖

A Day by the Water! 🚐☀️
Today, the wonderful residents of Kings Lodge Nursing Home enjoyed a peaceful and refreshing day out at Cobnor Marina!

With the sun shining and the sea breeze in the air, we explored the beautiful shoreline, watched the boats sail by, and soaked up the tranquility of nature. There were smiles, laughter, and unforgetible memories.

The festive spirit is truly alive here at Kings Lodge Nursing Home! With Christmas just around the corner, our residents embraced the season by joining in a delightful Christmas carol service. 🎶🎄

We were thrilled to welcome carol singers from our wonderful local community, creating a peaceful yet joyful evening filled with warmth and happiness. Singing together brought a true sense of community, with well-known carols that lifted everyone’s spirits and filled the air with festive cheer.
