What a Dancing Queen kind of day we had at Kings Lodge Nursing Home 💃🕺

Our amazing staff pulled out all the stops to create a truly unforgettable ABBA Tribute Day for our residents—and what a celebration it was! From all-time favourite ABBA hits to wonderful performances, the home was filled with music, joy, and nostalgia.

There was singing, swinging, clapping, tapping—and most importantly, plenty of laughter and smiles all around. It was heartwarming to see everyone joining in and enjoying such a special day together 🎶✨

A huge thank you to every member of staff who helped organise and bring this fantastic event to life. You made it a day to remember for our residents 💙

Our sensory table games are a favorite—encouraging touch, creativity, conversation, and connection. These simple yet powerful activities help spark memories, support wellbeing, and create smiles every single day.

There’s never a dull moment at Kings Lodge! 🎨🧩

Our residents have been keeping busy and having lots of fun with a wonderful variety of activities. For National Art Day, creativity was in full flow as everyone got involved in painting—producing some truly colourful and inspiring pieces!

Alongside that, there’s been plenty of friendly competition with board games and quizzes, bringing laughter, teamwork, and a great sense of community to each day.

It’s been fantastic to see everyone getting involved, trying new things, and enjoying time together. Here’s to more fun-filled days ahead at Kings Lodge! 💛
