🎉 Happy Birthday to our lovely David — 88 years young today! 🎂

He’s had quite the eventful day — starting with a visit from the alpacas this morning 🦙, followed by lunch at the Oving Jubilee Hall community tea party, where everyone sang Happy Birthday and surprised him with a cake! 🎶🍰

To top it all off, David even won in the raffle! 🎟️ His gorgeous smile says it all — what a wonderful day celebrating a truly special gentleman. 💛

We had some beautiful visitors at Waterhaven Place today from Dunreyth Alpacas! 🦙💛

Padrig and Saturn — a handsome father-and-son duo — came along to say hello to our residents. They were so gentle, well behaved, and absolutely loved all the fuss (and photos!) they received.

Animal therapy is such a wonderful experience for everyone — it helps to lift spirits, reduce stress, and bring smiles all around. The calm and affectionate nature of alpacas makes them especially soothing companions.

Thank you to Dunreyth Alpacas for bringing so much joy to our home today — we can’t wait for your next visit! 🌿✨

💛Yes, you should know by now… we do love animals at Waterhaven Place 😆🐾

Our hearts were full as Abigail brought in her adorable dog Millie for a visit, and she was absolutely spoiled by our residents (and rightly so!)💕 Millie lapped up the attention, cuddles, and treats, spreading smiles wherever she went🐶

And why not make it a joyful afternoon with a bit of singing too? Our residents grabbed the microphone to show how it's done! 🎤 Nothing lifts the spirit quite like music... It’s food for the soul and it seems that we have quite the potential in the building! 💖

We feel so lucky to have such caring and compassionate staff who go above and beyond — not just in the care they provide, but in the warmth and joy they bring to our residents’ days🌟

✨ A truly magical evening at Waterhaven Place Care Home ! 💃✨

Our Great Gatsby Night was nothing short of spectacular — the gold lights shimmered, the canapés flowed, and the atmosphere sparkled with 1920s charm🍸

The fabulous Dawn Gracie - Dawn's Vintage Do wowed us all with her sassy, high-energy performance, filling the room with laughter and rhythm — and many of us even mastered a few moves along the way! 🕺💫

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the evening so special. The night was filled with glitz, smiles, and touching moments that will stay in our hearts for a long time❤️

🐾💙May the good moments keep rolling at Waterhaven Place! 💛🐾

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the beautiful Alaskan Husky, Mishka, and her wonderful owner and trainer, Sarah, as we celebrated World Animal Day on Saturday! 🐕🤩 Our residents were all smiles — Mishka’s charm and fluffy cuddles won everyone over.

The fun continued with a Guess Who? trivia challenge, testing our residents’ knowledge and sparking plenty of laughter along the way! 🧠😂

And yesterday brought even more excitement with the visit of Dorian, the bearded dragon!! 🦎With his stunning colours and gentle nature, he completely captivated everyone — though a few residents did admit they thought he was a toy at first! 🤣

To round off the day, things got a bit more competitive with a lively carpet bowls tournament, proving once again that our Waterhaven spirit is as strong as ever! 🎳👏

🦉✨ Toot toot… the sound of an incredible moment at Waterhaven Place! ✨🦉

A huge thank you to HawkingAbout for giving us the pleasure to get up close with the wonders of owls and birds of prey. Our residents and staff were absolutely amazed — and everyone fell in love with Bigsby, the prettiest owl we’ve ever seen! 😍

And continuing with exciting moments, a slightly chilly, but very pleasant, trip to Bognor Regis Promenade 🌊 There’s nothing quite like a warm coffee, a slice of cake, and the fresh sea breeze to top off the day☺️☕

Another week of unforgettable moments at Waterhaven Place! 💛

✨ Wow, wow, WOW – what a day! ✨

Our CRM, Cheryl had the absolute pleasure of volunteering at The Dickie Bows and Petticoats Club in Chichester today – and what an incredible event it was! 💃🕺

🎶 100 sassy seniors sipped their way through 70 litres of tea while being fabulously entertained by the amazing Dawn Gracie, Odelia O***m and Snow White Trash.

🍰 Volunteers kept the tables flowing with delicious sandwiches and scones, all lovingly prepared by 19 fourteas Tea Rooms – and they went down a treat!

The afternoon ended with a standing ovation, proving just how much everyone enjoyed themselves. 👏💖

A huge WELL DONE to the whole team for pulling off such a fantastic event – the smiles said it all. 🥰
