🌸 Something special is on the way… 🌸

Handmade little cardigans, knitted with care by my sister, with crocheted collars and names embroidered by me. Each one is a tiny keepsake, made just for your little one. šŸ’›

Pick your favourite colours for the cardigan, collar, and buttons. Every piece will be completely unique!

We’ll be releasing just two at a time, with a 5-week turnaround, so every stitch is made thoughtfully and with love.

✨ Keep watching this space… they’ll be available very soon!

Penelope’s first rodeo 🤠

This was such a unique piece, as I’ve never made anything cowgirl-themed before, and I think it came out perfectly! On one sleeve, we have some cowboy boots, a cactus on the other, and it’s even like little Penelope is lassoing her own name!

This one is fully handmade by me 🄰

I’m busy working through my final custom orders. I’m so excited to see how they all turn out šŸ˜

Olive’s 2nd birthday cardigan šŸ¤

This one was inspired by the cardigan I made for her first birthday, with a few new additions for this year.

Her name, the olive branch, hydrangea and little bee have all returned, joined this time by a dragonfly, ladybird, daffodil and dandelion.

It’s stitched onto a completely handmade cardigan (all made by me) in the softest dusty pink yarn, finished with the most beautiful handmade buttons with tiny flowers inside them.

It feels so special that this is the fourth cardigan that I have made Olive and I even made one for her brother’s birthday too.

Having families come back again and again really is one of the loveliest parts of what I do šŸ¤

Oh I love receiving photos of my little customers in their knits šŸ˜

Here we have Hattie looking so sweet in her Angelina Ballerina jumper, the sweetest little bear in her Please Look After This Bear cardigan 🐻(knitted by lovely Sharon from ), and Ophelia wearing her Beatrix Potter cardigan (and she even has a family connection to Beatrix Potter herself!)

Seeing these pieces being worn and loved by your little ones is always the most special part of what I do. Thank you so much to the lovely parents who gave permission for me to share these photos.

It truly means the world to see my knits out in the wild šŸ¤

If you ever have photos of your little ones wearing their knits, I always love seeing them šŸ˜

When people see a finished cardigan, it’s easy to forget how many hours and how much skill it took to make.

Every piece begins with someone sitting quietly with needles in their hands, creating it stitch by stitch.

In my case that’s often the women in my family - my mum, my grandma, my sister, and me - knitting with years of experience behind them (and a couple of children drumming happily in front of them).

Their time and skill deserve to be valued, and it’s something I’m always working towards more and more within my little business.

Handmade knits aren’t just clothing. They’re hours of care, patience and craftsmanship to deliver your dream knit, they’re heirloom pieces you can keep forever ā¤ļø

The ā€œPlease Look After This Bearā€ cardigan has been one of your most requested pieces šŸ§øšŸ¤

To create each base knit, I work with incredibly talented knitters, and then I carefully embroider the wording or names to make every piece feel truly personal.

This gorgeous cardigan was knitted by , and then embroidered by me!

If you’ve been dreaming of a name knit or a special phrase stitched into something heirloom-worthy, these can be requested at any time, you don’t have to wait for my slots!

Handmade work takes time, skill, and care, and it deserves to be valued fairly.

Every stitch, applique, and detail in my knits is slow-made and one-of-a-kind, and I price each piece to reflect that effort.

I know I sometimes undercharge for the knitting itself, even though it’s incredibly skilled work. I’m still figuring out how to value it properly.

I’d really love to hear from other makers, especially knitters: how do you feel about fair pay for your craft? Do you feel your work is valued enough? šŸ¤

It’s finished! The Scarecrow’s Wedding!

For this piece, I wanted the knit itself to feel like the background of the story, with mustard straw at the bottom, rolling green hills through the middle, and a cloudy sky above.

The back shows the two scarecrows standing in a field of ā€œpink flowerzzzā€ beside their hay bales, and with wedding bunting strung across the sky.

On the front, all of the familiar characters make an appearance – a cow with her bell, a goose with a feather, a crab with a necklace of shells, a mouse with a ring, the bee, the toad, the snail, and a spider dropping down from above.

This will be part of my spring storybook collection 🄰
