A cardigan scene that’s as free-spirited as the little girl who’s going to wear it. I was very excited to design this one, it’s one of my classic designs, the wild flower scene, but modified slightly, and look at that goose! 🪿

This beautiful cardigan was made for little Quinn, who was the winner of the raffle that organised in memory of little Archie for . It was a pleasure to make this, especially as Chestnut Tree House is particularly important to me because my sister used to go there when she was a child.

The gorgeous cardigan was made by and goes so perfectly with my flower meadow design, which uses the colours from the rainbow sleeves in the design.

I am still doing my other raffle for Hallie and Primrose, so do check out the pinned post on my profile 🥰

Oh help! Oh no! It’s a Gruffalo! But don’t worry, this cardigan won’t eat you on a slice of bread, but it is completely homemade, and my first Gruffalo themed knit since the Mini-Story Collection back in April. Really love the subtle forest colours and the more striking character colours! The mouse saw a cardigan, and the cardigan looked good.

A little raffle announcement!

I’ve been following Tillie and Craig’s story and their two gorgeous girls, Hallie and Primrose, and honestly I’ve been so moved by everything they’re doing for them. They’re raising money for a larger car, which would make such a difference to their everyday lives.

So I thought I’d try and help in the best way I know how… with some knitting! I’m going to raffle off one of my handmade, hand-embroidered cardigans. The winner will get to choose the size and colours, and I’ll make it just for them. My lovely sister has also kindly offered to knit a hat for the runner-up, so that’s two prizes up for grabs!

To enter:
• £2 per entry, purchased via the listing on my website
• Leave your name so I can pop you in the draw
• The raffle will run for 2 weeks, from 11 am 25th August until 8 pm on 7th September 2025, and I’ll announce the winner and runner-up the next day

Entries are non-refundable, and winners will be picked at random. I’ll cover the cost of materials, and postage to anywhere in the UK (except Northern Ireland). Please see the listing on my website for the full T&Cs.

Another Once Upon a Time knit, but this time for little Aurora! The most special gift for a little one who will be turning one next year, with a lot of meaning behind the designs. Aurora is named after the Northern Lights, so I suggested that we could incorporate the Northern Lights into the design. They call her their little sleeping beauty so a sleepy princess had to appear too! Then we have Mrs Tiggy Winkle, the hungry caterpillar and a star. The jumper is knitted by me with a Sage Twinkle yarn (which seems to be super popular!) and hand-embroidered by me. I’m really proud of this knit 🥹

I was a machine this week! I really have no idea how I got so much done.

I had a lot of fun doing this order for my most loyal customer, little Sloane, who is only 17 months old and this order will mean she has 7 Stitch & Pull knits! She will definitely be the most stylish toddler in town 😎

It was really nice to have a break from my usual character knits, and I particularly loved this sea creatures design, inspired by the amazing and (I will never copy - the customer sent me pictures of knits Est and Jade had done and they were used for inspiration but still in the classic Stitch & Pull style)

A lot of love went into this order. The two gorgeous cardigans are knitted by and they are so neat and such incredible quality. So lovely to stitch into! The hats are knitted by my amazing mum. That Christmas pudding hat is honestly incredible. And they’re all hand embroidered by me, Mollie.

I’m starting to feel a little bit less overwhelmed. I definitely took on too much and so want to catch up before I take on anymore orders. I also have some exciting ideas for a mini autumn collection. It’s not something I’ve seen anyone do before so it’s a bit of a risk but I’m very excited to get stitching 🧵

Well done, Squirrels! You’ve earned your ‘We Love Embroidery’ badge! This was such an exciting cardigan to stitch onto, because it’s the biggest I’ve ever worked with! We wanted to fit as many of the Duggee cast as I could, so of course Duggee and all the squirrels are there, and over on the front I’ve got Enid, Angry Bull, Naughty Monkey, Sheep, Hennie, and Spider. Just time for one more thing… Duggee Hug!

You may have seen that one of my posts went viral. And that’s great, right? I’ve had hundreds of messages, thousands of new followers, and even more views. I’m so grateful to everyone for taking an interest in my handicraft.

But it’s also made me realise something. In trying to keep up with all the attention and write and interesting post every day and drive those metrics, it’s all just been too much for me.

I love stitching and knitting and making beautiful embroidered scenes for you. I don’t enjoy social media. This is just a hobby and is unlikely to ever be more, and it’s meant to be for my mental health, so it’s just not working for me posting daily.

This definitely isn’t me stopping, though. I’ll still be here and will add updates and sneak peaks to my stories, but I am only going to do one post a week from now on. This means the posts will hopefully be better and not just some rubbish I’ve put together late the night before.

So I’ve done a little bit of research (or at least, I got my husband to), and it looked like the best time for me to post will be Wednesdays at 11am, so look out for my posts at this time. Have a little scroll during your lunch break!

Did you know that we’ve got a blog to uncover a little about what goes on behind the scenes here at Stitch & Pull? It’s still fairly new, but it’s going to be updated semi-frequently (or at least when there’s some new craziness happening), and it’ll fill you in on things like why I had a tea party with some teddy bears
