In honour of David Attenborough turning 100 today, we have been watching some of his amazing nature documentaries, and undertaking a Nature Quiz with Shelley.
We also had a bit of pampering going on whilst the residents participated in the quiz; Thank you to the care staff who did this whilst trying to help answer the quiz!

Our lovely Sue brought in her 'Granny Pants' this morning... 😂
The game meant she had to wear giant trousers like a net for all the residents to try and throw bean bags in, and it was great fun!!! I was surprised anyone could get a bean bag in the trousers, as they were laughing so much!
Everyone enjoyed the 'Granny Pants Game', followed by a bit of 'Balloon Fly Swatting'!
Thank you Sue for your energy this morning, and being prepared to look a bit silly, we appreciate it! 🫶

We are delighted to show off one of our rooms, which has been totally refurbished, and now includes an en-suite shower room attached!

This room is available for immediate stays, and our weekly fee includes any personal care support required, all activities, all meals and drinks, laundry and toiletries.

In honour of Crufts, we held our very own 'Dovecote Dog Show' on Friday...
It was full of laughter, woofs and wagging tails, with our Resident Judges crowning the beautiful Fenn overall 'Best In Show'!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, particularly staff who brought their dogs in on their days off, and a very big thank you for to the gorgeous doggies who brought lots of joy to all our residents! And a special thank you to our Resident Judges, who took their roles very seriously, and made the show extra special!

In honour of the Holi Festival yesterday, our residents and staff this morning did a lovely paint throwing activity!
It was lovely and artistic, but it did get a bit out of hand and everyone is now wearing the paint!
