A big thank you to Rogate Pumpkin Patch for their huge generosity today!
We arrived with some of our residents without realising that we needed to book tickets, and they let us in for free!
They also said 'help yourselves' to our elderly residents, who came away with a huge haul of Pumpkins for carving this afternoon!
Thank you so much Rogate Pumpkin Patch! We're feeling very Autumnal here now!🍁

🇬🇧We celebrated VE Day in style today!🇬🇧

Beautifully delicious food, great music, dancing, and wonderful memories shared and made today, in honour of the 80th anniversary of VE Day!

We are truly privileged to provide care to this generation who experienced the euphoria firsthand of War being over in Europe. Some of our residents were recalling their memories of war being over, which was incredible to hear. We owe those who experienced VE Day originally an enormous debt of gratitude, for all their and their loved ones contribution to the war effort, but especially to those who did not live through the war to see VE Day. To those who made the ultimate sacrifice, thank you.

We are once again truly grateful to our team for the fantastic effort put in today, getting into the spirit of the day with decorations, costumes, but in particular for the beautiful spread the Kitchen Team put on today, with a lovely 'VE DAY 80 YEARS' themed buffet. We even had a Spitfire Cake!!!

We are so PROUD of our team today for hosting such a fabulous Easter Party for our residents and their relatives today.
A huge thank you to all staff on duty for their efforts to ensure everyone had a lovely day, and the BIGGEST thank you to the kitchen team for putting on such a delicious spread (as per usual)!

Spring has officially 'sprung' with the arrival of some lovely Lambs this afternoon! A big thank you to Em's friendly farm for bringing Lolly & Dolly to visit our residents today, it really feels like Spring is underway! 🐑🌷

A wonderful day out today at the Weald & Downland Museum for a number of our residents and staff, followed by a lovely lunch!
Thank you to the staff who took our residents, and to the staff who stayed behind and looked after our residents who stayed in today!

Today we had our fantastic Christmas Party for all our residents & relatives, with a fabulous performance by Elvis!
A huge, huge thank you to all our staff for making the Party run so smoothly! A fabulous effort by all involved!
And the biggest thank you to our Kitchen Team, for their hard work and creativeness with the fabulous variety of buffet foods, and the extra special Homemade Cakes! We even had Santa on Drinks!

We're feeling very festive... 🎄🎁☃️
Our residents enjoyed a lovely visit yesterday from Santa Claus!
He spent time chatting to our residents individually, and gave each resident a specially prepared gift from Elle, Head Elf & Santa Helper (our activities co-ordinator).
A big thank you to them both for making special memories with our residents!
