What we offer:
• £16.00 - £17.25ph from April 2026
• 45p per business mile
• 5pm – 10pm shifts
• Part-time roles available
• Minimum of alternate weekends required

Because we provide care directly in our customers’ homes, a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car is essential.

Last week our Finance Supervisor, Andy, attended Fab.UK 2026 - The Finance, Accounting & Bookkeeping Show in Birmingham.

A great opportunity to connect with finance leaders, explore new AI-driven solutions, and build industry relationships. Andy also joined sessions including an economic review by HSBC, training on new Xero features, and the closing keynote from HMRC sharing insight into the future of the UK tax system and the agent community.

Always valuable to keep learning and bringing new ideas back to the GAC South Coast team, even if we did miss Andy in the office!

CareAngel Olivia welcomed little Avery into the world on 5th February - congratulations on your beautiful new arrival!

Team Leader Blake, already a wonderful mum to Bailey and Jacob, became mum to baby Immi in August. Your love and dedication inspire us all!

Today our Chichester team opened their doors to host a lovely Mother’s Day tea with some of our clients and carers, who brought along their little ones too. It was wonderful to spend time together, share some treats, and celebrate the amazing mums and carers who do so much every day.

World Hearing Day – Ray’s Story

Ray was approaching 70 when he started noticing small changes in his hearing. Conversations weren’t as clear as they used to be, and background noise made things harder to follow.

He decided to get his hearing tested and was prescribed a Phonak hearing aid. While it has made a real difference to his day-to-day life, Ray still finds noisy environments a little challenging.

There’s currently no strict criteria for getting your hearing tested, but it’s advisable for healthy adults aged 18–60 to have their hearing checked every 3–5 years, and for those over 60 to have an annual test. If you notice any changes, don’t ignore them. Early checks can make a big difference to staying connected, confident and independent.

Today we’re celebrating Shannon’s 5-Year Anniversary with us, and what an incredible journey it has been!

Shannon joined our family as a CareAngel, and through her dedication, compassion and drive, she’s now thriving as a Care Coordinator.

As her Manager, Kirstie, shares:

“She cares an unbelievable amount about both our carers and our clients. She juggles so much to ensure everyone is happy every single day. She has an incredible future in care!

Shannon was formerly a hairdresser and now offers haircuts and blow-dries to our clients, some of whom aren’t able to get to salons. She organises all our community events and plans Golden Angels.

Her confidence has grown so much… she’s truly the best asset to Guardian Angel Carers!”
