In January this year our residents started work on a large community blanket to auction at our annual Christmas market fundraiser on 22nd November 2020. We are in desperate need of donated knitting needles, crochet hooks, colourfull wool, and other embellishments.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the current management team maintaining the highest standards of quality, care and clinical excellence. The role offers a competitive salary and a friendly working environment.

Requirements:
Up to date clinical skills
Extensive IT skills
Current NMC PIN
Comprehensive Care Plans
Elderly Resident and Nursing Home experience
Car owner with full UK driving licence
Ability to do ‘On Calls’
Weekend/Bank Holiday working
Recent knowledge of MCA, DoLs, and nursing assessments

We are currently recruiting - we need care assistants for our twilight role (6pm - 10pm) various evenings are available. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive and innovative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in this role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. A full role description is available on request. All applicants must have a complete CV detailing all roles held since leaving full time education. The Home is conveniently located for public transport.

Donnington House would like to say a huge thank you to Colworth Farm and the Hall Hunter Partnership for the grant they gave us to purchase a defibrillator.Thank you so much, it is a great service for the community and we are proud to be able to offer use of the defibrillator to anyone in need.
