Residents recently enjoyed a fascinating talk from Daniel of The Novium Museum on the history of Shippam’s 🏭

From its beginnings in Chichester to becoming a household name, the presentation sparked plenty of memories - especially for residents with personal links to the business.

This incredible charity supports local people in the Chichester area who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

We can’t wait to get involved, raise some funds, and see the difference we can make together.

Gala Day at Wellington Grange 🍾🎶

Residents enjoyed a glass of fizz before a special three-course lunch, followed by a concert from soprano Katie Brown. Her programme included Edith Piaf and Kurt Weill, with both familiar and new pieces enjoyed by all.

We were proud to recently present a cheque to Chichester Cinema, our 2025 Charity of the Year, following a year of fundraising at Wellington Grange.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.

Richard, son of one of our residents, wowed everyone with stories and stunning photographs from his trips to Antarctica and the Arctic.

We can’t wait to welcome Richard back for another journey to the poles!

Our Christmas Fayre was a real highlight of the season: bringing residents, colleagues and visitors together for an afternoon of festive fun. From browsing the seasonal stalls to enjoying treats and activities, it was a delightful way to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in the home.

Christmas Jumper Day is so popular, we decided to keep the spirit going and host our own festive version here at Wellington Grange 🎄

Residents and staff wore their colourful jumpers and took part in a Christmas quiz, with lots of smiles and laughter along the way. A lovely afternoon celebrating the season together.

The Wellington Grange Knitting Group has been supporting a local charity by knitting hats and a blanket for people experiencing homelessness and hardship during the colder months.

The donations were given to the Four Streets Project, which works with vulnerable individuals in the local community.

The group recently heard how their support has made a difference and remains committed to helping local causes 🧶

We were thrilled to welcome young performers from TOCommunity recently for a festive show!

Singing, dancing, and sharing their talent, they filled the room with joy and laughter. Residents joined in, clapping and singing along. A wonderful reminder of the power of community and connection across generations!
