Our story

Mendip Medical was the brain child of our Operations Director Dave Sprinks. After a career in the Navy, Dave worked as a police dog handler in Thames Valley Police force. Upon leaving the Police, Dave worked for a number of years with different independent ambulance companies.

Mendip Medical has been operating since December 2012, starting small and covering events local to the South West of England. Over the last five years however, the Company has grown with a number of regular clients throughout the UK. To reflect this period of growth the Company became Mendip Medical Ltd. in August 2017.

Mendip Medical Ltd. is now progressing to expand our service provision and are currently in the process of readying ourselves for application with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and aim to begin offering a wider range of operational capabilities after this process has been completed.

The Mendip Medical Ltd board have a wealth of collective knowledge in pre-hospital care both inside the NHS and the private sector. As a Company we aim to continue to provide top quality care and professional service to our clients and will be looking to continue operating within these principles when our services increase.
