Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop – The Oakwood
Event Details: A half-day WHM Fundamentals Workshop at The Oakwood (Esher). Dive into all
three pillars of the Wim Hof Method: breathwork, cold exposure (ice bath), and
mindset/commitment. Led by Chris “Ash” Ashworth (Advanced WHM instructor who assisted Wim
Hof on his winter travels). Ideal for curious, adventurous
individuals looking to boost their immunity, resilience, and performance through a new wellness

Transform stress into strength. The Wim Hof Method is all about teaching your body
and mind to adapt and grow. In this workshop, you’ll learn how deliberate cold exposure
(like a short ice bath) can train your stress response to become more resilient. It’s called
hormesis – exposing yourself to a little bit of stress so you come back stronger.
Paired with the calming breathwork, you’ll build a toolkit for stress management that
you can use in daily life. Ash’s passion for body-based healing shines as he helps you
safely embrace the cold and find comfort in the uncomfortable. Walk away feeling like a
stronger, more resilient version of you.

Find your inner calm in 90 minutes. Imagine lying back on a comfy mat, closing
your eyes, and being led through transformative breathing cycles. You might feel tingles,
emotions releasing, or deep relaxation – it’s all part of the process of balancing your
nervous system. Our instructor Ash creates a safe container for you to let go of worries
and reconnect with yourself. This session is about healing and resilience: you’ll learn
how something as simple as conscious breathing can build your resilience to stress and
help you feel more alive and present.
