📣We've posted about weight/payloads before but I thought it useful to share this with customers 😉

NARS ( National Association of Racing Staff) have recently made people/reminded them about WIMS and ANPR.

( Basically cameras that detect over weight vehicles)

Personally I don't feel like there is enough legislation in horse transport or horsebox building, but I know as well as other professionals in the industry, there isn't much difference between a 3.5 - 3.9t

You have some bump stops and a speed limiter. And the 3.9t would probably give you the payload you need for 2 slight racers on board, legally. ( Build/chassis wise there is nothing different apart from the need to drive 4mph slower, which I'd expect to travel this speed carrying two horses anyway !

To get to the point 👉

Your horsebox has a payload. Carry within this limit. It is AGAINST the law to be over weight.

Insurance companies will invalidate insurance claims if the horsebox is over weight.

And if you would like your horsebox uprating to a 3.9t - Get in touch, we can help!

Please listen to the advice given. I for one, do not want one of my vehicles travelling overweight.

Travel safe and within the law 😉

Rant over 😁
