Andy says the most common thing he hears from people who are resistant to meditation is, ‘it’s not for me.’ “I always ask, ‘Have you tried it?’ ‘No.'… Number one: Give it a try. Number two: Give it time. There is an assumption that as soon as we close our eyes and sit down, everything is going to go quiet... That doesn’t happen!”

Why ‘yoga for all’?
Why not?
Our bodies are all different and can all do/not do different things.
I will never be able to forward fold like Janet Janet, achieve wheel like Juliette, hardcore modified chaturanga like Lizzie Edwards or quite frankly have the energy of Jackie, my super yoga buddies....but what I CAN do is chip away bit by bit at my creaky and stiff joints....some weeks I’m energetic, some weeks I need calmer, more restful postures.....your body will have its own quirks and needs. Come and join me to find out: what they are, how you can start to loosen and strengthen your body and how to relax at the same time.....it’s fun!

Why Nalina?
I spent months researching a name after a friend told me that ‘Sam Adam Yoga’ was a bit rubbish. As a lover of all things French/Spanish/Italian I tried to find something that worked....but nothing did. I wanted something that meant ‘to blossom or bloom’, because yoga helps people to get in touch with their bodies and souls.....and to evolve......after a fruitless search I found my way to Nalina, meaning lotus
