It's a bit of a grey day here but I found some colour and mindfully enjoyed a few moments of peace by experiencing the:
5 things I can see
4 things I can feel
3 things I can hear
2 things I can smell (or a favourite scents/smells)
1 thing I can taste (or a favourite taste)
A great grounding technique for when we're feeling anxious or stressed. This exercise helps you to reconnect with your surroundings, reduce overwhelming thoughts, and regain a sense of calm and balance. It is also transferable wherever you may be π
