1 thing I can taste (or a favourite taste)

A great grounding technique for when we're feeling anxious or stressed. This exercise helps you to reconnect with your surroundings, reduce overwhelming thoughts, and regain a sense of calm and balance. It is also transferable wherever you may be πŸ’œ

December can be hard for a wealth of reasons however here's some tips of how to look after ourselves at this time of year ⛑️

πŸ“± Social media is a snapshot - please don't compare your Christmas/season to a moment of another's

πŸ›‘ Set your boundaries - don't overbook or feel guilty for making time for self care - it's ok to say no

πŸ”— Connect - spend time with people who love and support you and don't isolate yourself

🀝 Presence over presents - it's priceless

😴 Remember to sleep but try not to hibernate - between 7-9 hrs is enough

🌬️ Take time out to exercise or go for a walk in fresh air

🌑️Be mindful of how you're feeling and avoid alcohol if you're feeling down
